It is a trojan linked to the F14 files, and yes it came back; as an information security professional I advise everyone to block it unless your computer is dedicated to DCS and no important information on it!

The issue isn't Norton or Macafee. Why is Razbam using a trojan in the F15E files? Mcafee & Norton are doing their job of protecting your computer! Defender is an open game and is weak! I love this know it all community!

To work around the problem, I used any of the following lines in my hosts file, and also contacted Du (which wasn't helpful): 156.146.53.32 cdn.digitalcombatsimulator.com 156.146.53.35 cdn.digitalcombatsimulator.com

The issue is still there; However, I face it in VR mode. F16 RPM gets to 20% when starting the JFS Engine is not starting at all; the only solution I can do is create a plane using Windows+Home

I've tested DCS native OpenXR using hp Reverb G2 and Pico4 on both my Laptop and PC, and I'm sure that the Per-game installation 64 bit mentioned in this link worked much better with me: https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR/-/tree/openxr as the original DCS VR files used to halt a lot on my new Laptop. less on my PC but the driver from the link had much less issues with my Laptop and no issues at all with my PC, I have a PC with the following specifications AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D PC with 64 GB RAM DDR4 & Nvidia RTX 3080 ti GPU, and a Laptop with the following specifications Intel Core i7 12700H with 64GB RAM DDR5 & Nvidia RTX3070ti GPU, the Laptop is running on the dedicated GPU and both are having NVME 3TB drives each. I hope that DCS focus more on the VR thread as many issues are appearing lately.

Simply Said, the bottleneck is the new Intel CPUs as their base clocks are extremally low like 2.6Ghz, 2.2Ghz ….ETC. DCS doesn't understand that it can boost these processors nor understand which cores to use, in other words if your CPU is running DCS on less that 3.00 Ghz, then try disabling throttling in the Registry, disabling multithreading in the Bios, Increase processor power in Power management to 100%, Reduce the number of cores on the Intel CPU to the number of # of Performance-cores that you have, please note that these settings will help DCS but might have undesired effects on other programs, it took me a while to figure it out, so I hope it helps. on the other hand DCS should do something about them unable to utilize this type of technology correctly.

Hi This doesn't work with the X-56 C Stick

I purchased the X56 Space/Flight H.O.T.A.S.and it is great the HOTAS stick looks exactly like the F16C stick but the 2 small analog thumb sticks are hard to map as many of the controls in the sim button mappings are button based and not analog based, I basically would like to have the stick to be programmed exactly like an F16 stick, I couldn't find some of the options like the countermeasures management switch in the analog controls, are they there or will they be added in the future?
