I'm experiencing the same thing. Spent all day trying to sort it out but no luck. I tried different drivers, updating Alchemy, no difference. All other titles, including FC, Black shark work fine. Interesting thing is though that if you open the sound mixer you can see FC2 application there while in title menu, as soon as you start a mission it dissapears and you can't hear a thing. I've got X-fi extreme with latest drivers for audio and Alchemy.
Would be great and much appreciated if someone sheds some light into this problem.
