I see on the freetrack website that you must remove the ir filter from the webcam. I'm also seeing that someone is not removing the filter at all and it works like a charm, maybe it depends on the cam.

That's correct, i'm using it on my X52, works good but i find it too slow though , i will try to add some axis tune and see if it improves. Remember to update drivers and sst software from the Saitek website to have the magic mouse installed. It even works as a mouse in your desktop (sucking alot) :smilewink:

FAC: I see the diamond in the first and second mission of the campaign i'm flying, but it is not necessarily the target i need to complete the mission right ? He just spost threats ?

Someone is using this setup With BS and FC 2.0 ? Would you reccomend it ?

Well watching at your track i found out that i was totaly misreading dinstances in the briefing and i was trying to attack something really far from the actual target. I saw the smoke alot of times passing over there, but i was absolutely sure it wasn't intended for me :doh:. Did the mission just fine now, but again, i cannot find the 3 tube missile launcher target asked for the second mission. It's actually difficult for me to figure out the position because there are no particular environmental elements in the brief screenshot that can point me in the target spot. What i did until now is to scan the area trying to see something(with labels enabled), i killed 3 targets with mavs, but, they where not the right targets :doh:. Maybe the labels are just confusing me ? .. :joystick:

Well i think i will increase the curve to 40 for the Ailerons only and give it a try. The Rudder, for me, works perfectly with 30. Again , thanks for the nice tip. :smilewink:

Thanks all for the precious suggestions. But,if improved, i still dont get it properly, or let's say i'm still getting SAMS on the face. I'm in trouble in the first mission :doh: Now i managed to identify the area where the 3 targets tanks are located, but, to get there, i have some damn SAMS around that keep seeing me even from high altitudes. Should i follow strictly the Steering points routes and this will allow me to avoid them ? There's a way to actually fly over or near SAMS without getting roasted ? Kinda lost :|

What i mean is actually having in game .trk training missions that you can stop and control at any time, not videos only. @ WAGS In blackshark i can start these training missions from the training menu, it sounds strange to me to actually being not able to find the .trk mission files from the training videos you already posted in the website. The videos are also stating clearly "You can pause and review the training at any time." and "Now press control and destroy the remaining targets". What i'm asking is: "there are some training missions files .trk available, like those included in the blackshark ?"

I'm still fighting the trimmer configuration with the x52, because i figured out that i can't still keep the plane stable in order to be able to fly "head down" and cycle the views. I found that the trimmers configuration on the rotary axis are just too sensitive and keep turning the plane even with slight movements. Could someone suggest a good trimmer setup to use with the X52 or in general with rotary systems ? I tried also to assign the button for trimmer left, right,up, rudder left/right and reset trimmer, but i'm still getting unstable positioning during area scannings and target locking (i'm providing myself a head tracking system to improve the visibility aspect also). :joystick:

Even i'm not able to find the tracks for the training missions shown in the downloadable videos and website: Shouldn't they being included in the download of fc 2.0 ? Mine are missing... Being able to stop and actually rewind could be very usefull for a noob like me :)

But what about "Hey Man i Marked your Targets with yellow smoke !?" I CAN'T actually see any smokes ! Thanks guys i'll try some of the tips you suggested, my resolution is 1920*1080 , but to not lose framerate i 'm using the 256 cockpit screen.

I'm clueless on target spotting, i'm almost always ending up destroyed before actually seeing anything. I'm flying the first mission campaigns. What i do is to look at the f10 map to check where the targes are located, but still can't find their positions with mavericks camera even from big distances and in 10 or 20 seconds i'm hit by some air defense missile. Could you guys kindly spare some basic tips for a noob ? I've no problems flying, taking off and landing at all, but never properly played a modern air simulation. Just Blackshark, but it's all a different thing.

Well , with the sweet accuracy of the trimming controls on the x52, even if not properly configured and with the broken mouse button (that i managed to disable from devices ) i did the mission just watching instruments and correcting slightly just when needed. Ty all, now i must say goodbye to the bloody sweet controller. I start repacking it hoping the shop founds a fast solution to replace it. Damn. :doh:
