SOLVED -- It was indeed a mod issue. Caused by some of the planes in the WW II mod, which makes sense. For the time being, I have removed all WWII third-party planes, which I really don't need with all the ED WW II planes now available. In my case, the MB-339, A-4E and Hawk T1A cause no problems. Thank you for your help!

I can't find anyone else with the problem, so maybe it's only me. When I try to fly the P-51D (and now the Bf-109) with takeoff on the runway, the plane immediately free falls through the ground of the runway. I cannot fly them because they go into some twilight zone. What's up with this?
