Dump Question: Does OpenXR work wir Vive Pro 2 as well?

I started the Hind yesterday and there was a new Crosshair in my openBeta version. I cant find any news for a Hind-Update. Do you have any?

Yes, i will try it next week. I have installed the shaders for 2.7.9. Is there a newer version for 2.7.11? Looks good and brought me some fps. I caped to 30 fps now, (60 in general) but it looks a bit flickering. Have to test more.

SS is Supersampling. You can reduce it to lessen the pixels drawn or rais it up to get sharper image in cost of performance. You can lock your fps in the settingspage of Steam VR.

e.g. which is most recommended? Wanna give the F5 a try in a good story campaign. Black Sea Revolve 79?

Hi there! I was trying to set up my HIND controlls today. - Is there no possibility to set the fixed and moving sight brightnes to an axis in my throttle? I find only Dec/Inc Buttons? - Cabin Lighting switch i have red, white and red/white but no off. So i wanna set it o my 3 position switch, but not able to find "off" button

Hi there. Im really struggling hard with FPS since the Apache Update. I barely can reach more then 35 FPS in the AH64 or the HIND (and it even looks by far not so good like sturmovik or ACC as example which i play smooth) with following settings: PD 1.0 SS in Steam VR at 38% locked on 45 FPS I mean, it looks okayish, but the FPS is a pain really... Any tips what i can to? System: 128 GB Ram Intel I9-10900 @ 3.7 GeForce RTX3080 HP Reverb G2 A couple of month ago i remember getting 45 fps most of the time with not touching the settings (came back now to DCS cause of the AH)

I think i fugured it out. I had the HUD rendered for both eyes. This made 2 Crosshairs appearing for the Boresighting. I closed one eye and boresighted, which obvisiualy was an mistake. I shwitched to left OR right rendering and it works. With both eyes you have to take the center between the 2 Crosshais (both eyes is most comfortable for me)

Good thing to check. I will look to wind settings in the ME after work, but i think it was set much wind. Im a noob and i can not handle winds No, i check more in the evening and let you know.

Oooookaaaaaayyyy I wanted to make a clip this morning, showing my startup and afterwards the shooting problem. But it disapeared. The gun shots exatly where i'm aiming. AND: i swear by god, i did not do anything different like yesterday. the only difference was the map. yesterday nevada, today syria. but i dont think it has something to do with it. I try more in the evening - then with VR (since i struggle there with fps since the last update).

OK, as i said already i did not touch the flir until now. I have the modul just since yesterday and made everything in the startup how it is mentioned in the videos from Casmo and Wags. I fly in VR an dwith Track IR with the same result. Sometimes the shots are insanely wide, sometimes short. I think too that there is some boresight problem cause this deflection has nothing with the movement of the bird to do. I make a short recording tomorrow from who i boresight.

I have to check tomorrow. But until now I didn't touch the flir. Shall I make a recording of my boresight process? I mean there's not much what you can to wrong?

I mean, I changed from auto to 800 and 1500 and nothing changed. Sure I have to compensate, but they are not even close to the cross hairs. I watched cosmos video about it and tried to make as near as Jim with an absolut destructive result. When ich shot in Front the bullets impact an the same way. Short like hell. When I fire 80° right the bullets can be off because of speed and movement, sure. But not 50% short.

Hi there: My shots are so far away from the "cross" thats....hm...i dont get what i do wrong. Neither i take 800, 1500 or Auto ... there not even in the nearer surrounding of the crosshair. Help qould be much appresciated, couse without hitting it is kinda no fun I boresightet the HMD as required. Recorded 2 Clips:

Are there similaraties in case of operating between the Hornet and the Apache?

Hi guys, tbh i didnt want to buy the Apache since i have the HIND, BS, MI8 and so much more to fullfill in DCS but i am so curious about it since my last hours in the Apache are some days in the past when i flew it in Janes Apache Longbow. I kinda know how to handle the hornet an the other stuff, the HINT and the other Helos. Question: Is it hatd for me to find my way into the Apache with the combined knowledge of the Hornet and the Hind? I mean sure, i have to get the procedures but helps my knowlede?

So, i tried it, but problem is still there (even i did not have this issue in any single other module). Noswheel steering perfect with my pedals, but rudder goes insanly wild... i try to make a clip of the behaviour.
