  1. Hmmm. Don't know whether anyone found a resolution to this - but I'm the same. City buildings within 600 metres in the SHKVAL disappear. Very annoying. GTX 650Ti Driver 311.06
  2. Found It In server.lua
  3. Interesting stuff. I sold mine a few years back as I couldn't find a local spares dealer.
  4. Is there a way is bring the CRTL F11 camera height closer to the ground? The closest I can get it is still about 10ft above. Looked at view.lua but can't seem to find the option there.
  5. Every now and again, I'll be building a mission in the editor and it will start to take ages to save the file. Then it will take ages to load the mission into the simulator (if at all). When I looked at the mission file size, it was a staggering 16mb, and another was 11mb. Others were only a few Kb. So I changed the mission file suffix from .miz to .zip and found that a TRACK folder had been created with an ACTION file. This was the big bugger so I deleted the TRACK folder altogether, renamed back to .miz and it loaded fine. This has probably been documented before and I don't know why it happens, but if it happens to you - this could be a solution.
  6. Cool. I'm testing this now! Many thanks.
  7. Oh yes! Ha! Simple when you know how :)))
  8. Hi everyone, I'm sure there's a simple explanation but I can't find it! I've built a mission and now want to branch it off into a campaign. The mission is simple: Escaping leader needs to be stopped from getting to the airport. Armoured elements of convoy need to be destroyed and leader halted by taking out a bridge. Then clear the area around the airport before landing and rearming. Next, protect the immediate area from enemy forces until supplies arrive. The mission is built and running well. Now, I want a couple of endings to this, linked to 2 different missions: Ending 1 is where the player completes all tasks. Ending 2 is where the leader is killed but all other tasks are complete. I just can't figure out how the campaign system will let me do this. A total failure will result in the player having to restart the mission. But the other 2 endings I want give the player a chance to land before moving on to the next. Do I do this by assigning a score to the objectives? If using a staged campaign do I start a new stage or stay within the same stage? Bit confused. Sorry!
  9. I too have to agree that FD is more responsive and natural for me. I only switch it to AP long distance Route flying or hovering. As for what real world pilots do... well they don't have my joystick!
  10. Yeah. Just the needles as EKRAN always reported the correct empty tank.
  11. Bumfire's Fixed it for me OK, I ran the same test (on the trk file I provided) and Bumfire's suggestion does work. The needle now correspond correctly to their respective fuel tanks. This is s "proper" bug and the solution should be stickied. Whilst it may seem minor, it cause me to crash as I tried to isolate the wrong tank when it leaked. Anyhow, problem solved and many thanks to all you chopper heads out there :-)
  12. Excellent. Good to know BP can't get their problems sorted but peeps on here are on the ball! Off to test the fix.
  13. Oh no they're not. Just tested. Left engine should be running off the forward tank. But when you run on the left, the AFT needle goes down. As you get low on fuel EKRAM reports the FORWARD tank low but the AFT needle is down. Therefore, the needles are back to front. Ta da! Oh, here's a track for proof. fuel.zip
  14. But what about the gauges? F and A seem to be reversed.
  15. Backwards Fuel Gauges in BS? After getting hit up the bum by a stinger, I notice my KA50 started to wee itself and the F needle on my fuel gauge was going down. I closed my X Feed valve thinking I didn't want fuel from my rear tank crossing to the front and peeing out. I also turned off the front fuel pump (don't ask why). A few minutes later a low AFT warning comes up but the F needle is almost on empty. Now I know, I lay in a twisted burning wreckage that my AFT tank was holed and by turning off the Front fuel pump, I was left with nothing. So the gauges are round the wrong way. I think :-) Simon.
