  1. Don't know about alternatives to the profiler but the whole profiler software suite is currently undergoing a complete from scratch re-write that'll be avaialble in about a year probably. CharlesB at the Logitech forum has noted that the 5.0x profiler which is available now is still essentially based on a 10 year old program The LEDS do work; morg wrote a a piece of software to change their colour based on lua export data from DCS:BS and Djuu has addad functionality for FC2 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=45895
  2. Fifthcolumnist, Djuu also noted this bug in G940leds 1.1 in one of his posts I don't know if morg is continuing to refine the software since he hasn't posted in about three months. Anyway back to what I was asking again, I finally managed to wrap my noggin around the export script stuff and have made entries into G940export, colors and profiles lua to support the six different ACS modes for FC2. Once you have installed Djuus files you can navigate to "Eagle Dynamics/Lockon Flaming Cliffs2/Config/Export/G940leds" backup Djuus original LO-FC2 file and overwrite with the modded files attached. Hope this isn't treading on anyone's toes, Djuu if you want to repackage them please feel free. I'm really chuffed to have my buttons change colour when I press them to activate the different ACS modes. :D LO-FC2.rar
  3. First off I just want to say amazing work on making this utility, I'm trying to get 6 of my throttle buttons to show the differnet ACS modes. Djuu I was wondering wether I could get some advice on how to get the ACS mode requested by G940export.lua For instance what would I have to enter into G940export.lua to check if BARO_HOLD is on? I've assumed I can make additions to colors and profile lua files to include the additional functions. I'm sorry to be a pain but I have no idea about lua stuff but one example of how to export an ACS mode would get me started. I've tried a few different combinations of primitive copying and pasting/replacing of text of different functions included the G940exportlua to no avail:helpsmilie:
  4. Hi there i'm also a G940 owner its not a bad stick for FC2 and DCS:BS. 1 Take a long read of this thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=45695 It has lots of useful info for adjusting the force curves to get the best feel from stick. I don't know if there are any G940 profiles around I just built mine from scratch but there is a thread with layouts for other sticks I looked at to get the inspiration for the layout http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=42060 2 The throttle LEDS http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=45895 works great but you will have to da alot of research before trying to change the lua scripts to show other functions than the author morg has by default I'm still in the early stages of trying to figure it out. 3 The trim wheels might not be assignable as none of the aircraft modelled in FC2 have trim wheels, the pilot applies trim using the HAT on the stick. 4 The sensor is the "Dead mans switch" when you take your hand off the stick it returns to centre and will not shake or rumble while your hand is off. In FC2 and especially BS you need the stick to stay in the trimmed position when you take your hand off the stick so taping up the stick is like always having your hand on the stick. 5 Personal preference really I'd actually like to know what the advantages of using in game are (i'm gonna try researching it sometime). I used the profiler because I wanted to assign axis commands for the ministick on the joystick as the ministick doesn't work right for aiming the Shkval by assigning it in game.
  5. When I engage the autopilot in the 25T in FC2 my G940 stops moving around but the stick in game continues to move around, should my stick continue to move around? Is this a bug or is it a safety feature?

  7. Cool, all I have to do after that is run my current stick into the ground and sneak the Hogstick under the wifes nose in a couple years time:thumbup:
  8. Is there a source to find the all hotas control assignments in the A10C in its different modes so that those of us who won't have a TM Warthog can set up our stcks to approximate the real layout?
