Taming the spitfire with pedals

What I would like to know, how can left braking do anything if the left wheel is completely off the ground? TC -

If that's so then explain to me how you are able to correct a wing drag if one wheel is off the ground, if there is not enough airflow to effect the rudder then how is there enough to effect the ailerons. Maybe I'm thinking to hard but I'm just trying to understand how this works so as to help me understand how to operate this plane.. Thanks for your response. TC -

Here is a picture looking from the front of the hanger to the rear (outside) and the second is a look at the rear of the hanger through the mirror, notice there are not trees or fence. -

Could you please explain to me the relationship between the brakes on the spitfire and the tail wheel. Exactly how do they interact in regards to directional travel, since the spitfire does not have differential braking? It seems to me that rudder would be the solution, I understand their may not be enough rudder authority initially but at what speed does the rudder become useful? I'm not a engineer or pilot but they must of had a lot of take-off mishaps due to control issue during WWII. This plane is too too sensitive to directional control on the ground, the wing will dip even when moving at a very slow rate of speed. The free casting tail-wheel is to free. TC -

There appears to be no objects showing in Mirror other then bare terrain. Not very immersion when you have a mirror but can't see what's behind you as you are taxiing. TC -
why should the stick be held backward during taxi?

I assigned both pedals to the brake axis. TC -

would it be possible to have a feature like the kneeboard for the compass, it shows the compass but it also allows one to make adjustments to the compass while it being showed in kneeboard mode? -
I see nothing in that thread to indicate "the original schedule and promises were way out of line with reality", infact the P-47 was expected March 2015. I'm ending my comments as to the reality of the backers project. TC

Please explain "the original schedule and promises were way out of line with reality", seem to me that ED didn't think so since they never to date as far as I'm aware of mentioned any such notion that the original schedule and promises were way out of line with reality. I very well may be wrong on this but if I am please enlighten me. Look I can't speak for ED but as a paid subscriber I can comment/inquire on this topic. It was I believe a valid inquiry. Thanks TC

I didn't say or mean it had 4 years of work into it all I'm saying is that it has been a backer choice since at lease 09-22-2013 when I selected my 3 planes two which I have received. TC

Since you are one of the select few who know's what they need to finish the project,I think you should let them know and maybe they can get the job finished. Not to linger on this but like you and your comment, I also have comments that express my feeling about this > 4 year and counting project. TC

4 years and counting. TC

Printable. In other words is there some way of printing this map, attempting to do screen shots won't provide reliable detail prints. TC

I was wondering if the Normandy map can be printed like the maps in IL2 and if not is there a printable Normandy map like the one in the game? Thanks TC

Thanks for that information, will experiment. TC

Can you also ask about the water in 2.1, it's lifeless, has no depth to it and therefore hard to judge how low you are and in most cases will cause you to fly into the water. Adding alot of wind will have adverse effect elsewhere. Thanks TC

ED has achieved a high level of excellance with their product line, I don't think they should toss that out the window just to put a inferior product out, someone would be able to tell and then the domino effect. Keep Looking.. TC

I've d/l the mod and both missions but unable to install the missions, and how do I know if the mod is installed? Thanks TC

I'm hoping this mod will be for the Normandy map? Thanks TC

I would like to know from ED, how many more years I'm I going to have to wait to get my Backers Reward. I don't really mind the wait but I would think that if not every year then at lease every two years ED should issue a status update on items in the backer program that haven't been fulfilled up to this date. [DCS World FC3] Complete Su-27 English Cockpit Mod
too-cool replied to Devrim's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Are all of your English cockpit mods outdated and if so will you update so they will work with current DCS? Thanks TC -
In Options menu / Special (P-51) /Customize Cockpit= Selecting Vivid Color will produce the Hud error as in the above post regardless of which version you use. TC
