I took a shot at it and created axis commands for most of the rotating knobs. I added the lines below into the "default.lua" under "DRIVE:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F-15E\Input\F-15E\joystick"
-- added HWF -- Interior Lights {action = intlt_commands.console_lt_knob, cockpit_device_id = devices.INTLT, name = _('Console Lights Brightness Axis')}, {action = intlt_commands.inst_pnl_lt_knob, cockpit_device_id = devices.INTLT, name = _('Instruments Panel Lights Brightness Axis')}, {action = intlt_commands.ufc_bcklt_br_knob, cockpit_device_id = devices.INTLT, name = _('Gauges/UFC Backlights Brightness Axis')}, {action = intlt_commands.chart_lt_knob, cockpit_device_id = devices.INTLT, name = _('Charts Spot Light Brightness Axis')}, {action = intlt_commands.flood_lt_knob, cockpit_device_id = devices.INTLT, name = _('Storm FLood Lights Brightness Axis')}, {action = intlt_commands.chart_lt_lamp, cockpit_device_id = devices.INTLT, name = _('Chart Spot Lamp Brightness Axis')}, -- Volume Knobs {action = volctrl_commands.caution_vol, cockpit_device_id = devices.TEWS, name = _('Caution Volume Axis')}, {action = volctrl_commands.launch_vol, cockpit_device_id = devices.TEWS, name = _('Launch Volume Axis')}, {action = volctrl_commands.ics_vol, cockpit_device_id = devices.ICS, name = _('ICS Volume Axis')}, {action = volctrl_commands.wpn_vol, cockpit_device_id = devices.PACS, name = _('WPN Voume Axis')}, {action = volctrl_commands.ils_vol, cockpit_device_id = devices.ILS, name = _('ILS Volume Axis')}, {action = volctrl_commands.tacan_vol, cockpit_device_id = devices.TACAN, name = _('TACAN Volume Axis')}, --UFC {action = ufc_commands.UFC_VOL_R1, cockpit_device_id = devices.UFCCTRL_FRONT, name = _('UHF Radio 1 Volume Axis')}, {action = ufc_commands.UFC_VOL_R2, cockpit_device_id = devices.UFCCTRL_FRONT, name = _('UHF Radio 2 Volume Axis')}, {action = ufc_commands.UFC_VOL_R3, cockpit_device_id = devices.UFCCTRL_FRONT, name = _('UHF Radio 3 Volume Axis')}, {action = ufc_commands.UFC_VOL_R4, cockpit_device_id = devices.UFCCTRL_FRONT, name = _('UHF Radio 4 Volume Axis')}, {action = ufc_commands.UFC_BRT_CTRL, cockpit_device_id = devices.UFCCTRL_FRONT, name = _('UFC LCD Brightness Axis')},
I did not test every item because I have only one slider I can mess with. Generally, they use only half of the available input signal range, and you need to invert them.
The lines need to be inserted in the axis commands part of the file near its end. I inserted them right underneath the line s for Hud Control.
The commands added to this file work only from the pilot's cockpit. If you want to use them also from the WSO cockpit, you need to add them the the file under "...\Mods\aircraft\F-15E\Input\F-15E_WSO\joystick", and you need to bind them again.
Anything else you want please let me know specifically by item. I did not find any missing knob for Radar and I did not find anything for INS.
My method works only for rotating knobs. If the cockpit has a rocker switch I cannot turn that into an axis. What about exterior lights, Formation, Position. Thanks TC

The finger lifts do not trigger button presses...it's easy to see in Simappro.
The F15E is still in early access and some controls have not been implemented including a few analog rotaries.
Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Thanks TC

I have a few questions maybe some owner of the Super Taurus / Super Libre could answer this.
1. Is there a way to program the finger lifts on the Super Taurus for the New F-15ESE and if so How?
2. Can't seem to program my two rotatory for the F-15E, formation and position lights, the rotatory work on the F18 but not on the F-15, would appreciate any assistance in getting these two issue solved. Thanks TC

Check that either the Historic Filter is Off (the clock thingy at the bottom status bar), or the Mission date corresponds to the actual in-service years of the aircraft you want to place.
It appears to have been the Clock thingy. Thanks I'll Post again if that didn't fix the issue, it's working now but this is DCS so who knows. Thanks TC

Oh, right! Well, it seems to be fixed internally, since it's working as it should in ED internal build. Wait for the next OB.
I have a problem, when I attempt to load a mission in the mission or Missions I do not get a full list under A/C type regardless of if I choose Custom, Modem, WWII or 1947-1991. I'm getting either all Prop or all Jet but not both in the same list. I have done both update and repair, haven't tried Clean yet. This is only for my Beta Version 2.8.6.41066, Any Idea's? Thanks TC

I'm confused, ED reported not more than a hour ago the Auth. Server was rebooted and is now fixed, if thats ture how is that I'm like the other above me are still getting the 502 error? This for me has been since Yesterday 06/08/23.

Thanks for the reply!
I did a fast repair and the issue still exist. It's not the screen on LSO stands is not being displayed, the issue was I could not even get into the LSO view. In case my F9 key is not working, I even change the keybind under general -> LSO view to 'Lctl + Lshift + L'
Try Lalt F9. TC

Why don't ED do like IL2 GB, allow mods to be turned on or completely off. Now if you don't want to have mods enabled because you feel it give and unfair advantage to your opponent then don't enable them. But wait, then the complaint will be something like this, it's not fair that I can only play a limited number of servers while those with mods enable have more server to choose from. Get the point? How about those who use a game controller ie; PS 2 game pad and those who use let say a Winwing Super Tarus, that's not fair because Winwing has more functions that can be applied to the throttle then my game pad. The list goes on and on. You can't please everyone so consider the IL2 GB way of dealing with mods but you know some mod creator will make a mod to use where no mods are allowed so we are back to square one. TC

The repair fixed it but I think I'm using a mod that changes it. I had to re-install this mod after the repair and the issue reappeared so I loaded the mod after the repair and then copy/paste the Default.lua from my Stable version after re-installing the mod first. So far so good. Thanks TC

The file "default.lua" under "...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Input\FA-18C\joystick" should contain these 2 lines of code
{ down = iCommandPilotGestureSalute, name = _('Pilot Salute'), category = _('Communications')}, { down = intercom_commands.MsgHornetBall_EXT, cockpit_device_id = devices.INTERCOM, value_down = 1.0, name = _('Hornet Ball'), category = _('Communications')},
If these 2 lines are missing you would get the problem you describe. That's unlikely but check anyway!
I wonder if your installation has a file like "Winwing Super Tarus Throttle & Super libre Stick.lua". If you have such a file then the two lines are probably missing there.
Caution: I'm not referring to the "....diff.lua" file! These two lines are not in the "default.lua, exactly were should I place these two line in this file, screen shot would help. Thanks TC

I have the Winwing Super Tarus Throttle & Super libre Stick, Since the last up date I'm unable to bind the Salute or Hornet Ball to my controller, those two are grayed out, and I'm also unable to set the Axis tune. I had tech support check this out and they couldn't find the cause due to the fact that they didn't have this controller to test it on, so they suggest I UN-install the drivers and let windows choose the best drivers for this. Well as faith would have it I.m using drivers windows suggested(Win10). Anyone encountering this issue with these binding/axis tune? Thanks TC

I agree that a clickable way to close/open the door would be totally desirable .. but comparing it with an FC3 module is kind of absurd and I don't agree with that.
Sorry to post like this, but I would like to know if you happen to have a profile for the BS2/III using the winwing throttle and stick or know anyone who has one and don't mine sharing? Thanks Carl

Anyone have and willing to share their winwing tarus / superLibra profiles for the KA-50 / III black-shark helicopter? Thanks TC

Howdy!
Been thinking on this for a while and seen some traffic in various Discords about how to map the controls of the Apache. This is my recommendation! The way I plan on doing this personally is the XBox and Warthog Combo, but I did a version where everything is mapped to the Warthog using the pinky switch as the mode selector. It covers all of the critical functions for the front seat and some of the Collective Mission/Flight grip items useful to the pilot or someone who's solo'ing the aircraft. Granted, this is 100% subject to change based on what we ACTUALLY get, but hey, it's a start! Here's the link:
And yes, I am a real Apache pilot, like the title says. Been flying them since 2009.

You wouldn't by chance have a profile for the Winwing (SUPER LIBRA+SUPER TAURUS)? Thanks TC
