That seems difficult, because the PLA still has a considerable number of J-10 J-10A and J-11B in service. The J-8F might contain related sensitive technologies (like datalinks and electronic warfare), and when it comes to secrecy, the military is always the most conservative, you know. This is also why the variant Deka chose this time is one that never served in the PLA.
I personally think Deka's next aircraft after the J-8 will be a later variant of the Q-5. This aircraft type has been completely retired and has enough unique characteristics (as a high-speed penetration attacker).
We don't really need a detailed datalink. Just copy and paste the ones on JF-17 or Su-27, and it will do. Q-5 is good too, as long as they make Q-5III or later variants, because only those variants have omnidirectional RWRs, which allow us to navigate in a modern battle environment.

It will be worth it.
Could you please share the manual with us in the meantime?

I heard that ED was planning to release the module in Q2 of this year. We only have 11 days left for Q2, so do we have any news?

Couldn’t the J-8b carry pl-4?
Nah, that couldn't possibly be a PL-4 missile. Look at its wing, it carries PL-8. PL-8 entered production in 1988, while PL-4 was cancelled back in 1984. That missile is a PL-11.
So, let's see:
PL-11 entered service in 1992;
PL-8 entered service in 1986;
J-8B (the patch that started to use Doppler pulse radar and is capable of supporting BVR missiles)entered service in 1995.
J-8D entered service a year later in 1996.
J-8H entered service in 1997.
J-8F entered service in the early 2000s.
So, it can be B or D. It must be some kind of upgrade package that was introduced.

I recently found a source that claims that J-8H also has 2 wing fences on each wing.
But if that was the case, what is this then?
I wonder, does that mean J-8H wasn't the first J-8 jet that was capable of carrying BVR missiles like the PL-11? If so, which variant was this? We need to find out because all single wing fence variants are retired. There maybe a chance for us to get the permission.

Yep, me too. I was thoroughly disappointed by the quality of Razbam's MiG-19 module. I need to have a replacement.

Which RWR will we get in this module? May I assume it is going to be worse than that in the F-4 and F-104, since this is a much older design?

May I assume it will have the same RWR as F-4E or worse, since it is a much older jet?

I see. Thanks for telling me, guys. So, how do ED decide which units will be accepted? What are their criteria?

"Enviado desde mi CPH2197 mediante Tapatalk"? What are those?
What about the 3D models of those vehicles and radars in the asset pack?

all missiles are done by ED.
Hi @uboats, thanks for the fast reply. You mean include everything in the Chinese Asset pack and PL-11?
If so, can you please include those vehicles and radars in your asset pack? Thanks for any consideration.

Hi @uboats , since you are making the PL-11 missile. Can you give us the HQ-64 as well, please? They are basically the same missile.

Agree. Yak-3 is as iconic as the La-7. The German air force warned their pilots not to engage it at an altitude below 6000 meters.

MiG-23MLA Razbam chosen is the best, the lightest airframe with the strongest engine and reinforced wing root. It was still a dangerous fighter in late 1970s.
Wneh MLD was outdated when it entered production as MiG-29 was already in production as well, alongside this last -23MLD variant.
The MiG-23MLD can engage in dogfights due to the addition of vortex generators. That's what matters.
Additionally, we require the new RWR for the jet to be survivable in modern combat settings.-

Yep, DCS definitely need a MiG-23MLD, now that we have F-4E.

That would be a welcome upgrade. There are more than one type of AIM-120 available in the sim. The same should be true for the R-27 series.
Check this out.
Even the old sinodefense.com, which was a credible source, has reported it.
