  1. That's correct. If you know this, you can achieve the point when the stall is impossible. Even at 0 airspeed. I call it "decellerated stall"
  2. Yes, I have. Always won against those.
  3. I disagree. When I tried the maximum speed, I got 344 kts (637 km/h) at 20000 ft ( 6096 meters ) From my experience people forget to close engine cowl flaps that makes huge difference in drag.
  4. Actually this is true for most of the existing aircrafts and there is no WWII aircraft for which it would not work like that because all flight controls surfaces are mechanically connected with stick and rudders. Trim tabs works in a way of shifting aerodynamic neutral force position of flight control surfaces, resulting in shifted neutral force position of stick and rudders. The only exception might be aircrafts with fly-by-wire system or aircrafts without trim tabs - aircraft on which the entire rear stabilizer mounting is readjusted. You may see this videos about all kinds of trim systems: Example of mechanism where the whole stabiliser mounting is shifted:
  5. If you are taking off without load and from the very far end of carrier, you probably won't notice. But imagine you have loaded bombs and rockets and half of carrier deck is full of aircrafts. That means much shorter take off area. Don't forget to properly set take-off trim.
  6. Again. Most joysticks are much shorter than real stick which is in aircraft. And this most often is the main issue of player's bad experience.
  7. First of all. I did not use full throttle. At second test I did not use high blower. You can see it in the screenshot. The green line.
  8. Anti Detonation Injection - Its main purpose is to prevent engine knocking ( detonation combustion ) and premature ignition. At low altitudes it has secondary effect of increasing manifold pressure ( cool air = more dense ) Principle is: Water has the highest specific heat capacity of all common substances 4180 J/(kg·K). But that's not the most important thing. The most important thing is that in order for water to turn into steam, it needs an additional 2257 kJ/kg of heat. This allows it to cool the engine much more efficiently than a rich fuel mixture, because aviation fuel has almost half the specific heat capacity of water. In my opinion it is not simulated yet. Because I think there should be "jump" in power at low altitudes, just like in P-47.
  9. O.k. Thank You for this info. Still I don't think the F-4U in DCS:W is somehow slow. As posted above, understanding difference between IAS and TAS and propper engine management makes a big difference.
  10. So, to understand the ADI is injected once I pass the detent? Jusk asking because I have set physical detent at the exact same point.
  11. Yes, according to performance table. null
  12. Don't know. Did not turn on anything. Just set throttle to max
  13. New result: with low blower I've reched 344 KTS
  14. New test result: 335 KTS TAS at 20 000 ft. Weather: 15°C QNH 29.92 75% fuel, no ammo 54" MP 2700 RPM High blow It is very important to properly manage the engine cowl flaps which makes really huge drag.
  15. I've reached 535 km/h TAS ( 332 MPH or 289 KTS ) in 5000 meters ( 16 404 feet ) in level flight. MPR 54", 2700 RPM, low blower
  16. This is my last video before the patch. Look how stable the flight is. I use 0 axis curves and 0 dead zones. Some twitches are there. Those are caused by changing trim or by my stick. Because my stick have no dampening.
  17. Someone told deep learning AI pilots in DCS forum?
  18. It did not bounce. Your stick is too short, with short lenght or with short throw. Check this video explaining your issue. I used 0 curves with previous FM and my opinion is the previous FM was better. Now it flies like vanilla Cessna from Flight Simulator X. https://youtu.be/Gs2m-xlyK7o
  19. Much better? IMO it feels like F-16 with Fly-By-Wire now. I don't know how the corsair would behave, but this is really very strange. But this is not what I would expect from aircraft with high torque and almost 5 meters long propeller.
  20. No, it is not core parking issue. When this happened, all cores were unparked and experiencing the stuttering. The most interesting is those pulses. HotPlug is turned off. This screenshot is from main menu. Why is this randomly happening? (note, resize is probably there because I was switching between windows) By the way: Sometimes when I run DCS, all apps in backround are freezing. dcs.log
  21. When in altitude over 10 000 m the marked number should switch from 0 to 1.
  22. Well. I've found the core parking have been somehow overriden. After reset power profiles it looks like the issue has gone. But I am not sure right now. I need to observe it for longer time to be sure.
  23. No. Hybrid cores are only issue of Intel CPU's. Ryzen 9000 series may have exactly opposite problem with core parking than Intel has. AMD Ryzen 9000 series intentionally parks the cores so that the game runs on only single chiplet with 3D V-Cache, which is correct because it extremely reduces latency. The problem is that if you don't set up the system correctly, it doesn't work as it should. The cores don't park when they should. I recommend watching this video which explains the AMD problem in depth and gives solution how to fix that:
  24. In W11 it is possible to manage that ony by editing windows registries. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583\ There are two values. One is named "value max" and one is named "value min" This values in % determines the minimum and the maximum allowed ammount of parked cores. When the both values are set to 0, no core will be ever parked. After that the system restart is needed. Edit: Or I can change value "Attributes" to 0 and this will unlock the core parking setting in power settings, just like it is in W10
