This issue should only occur if you're speeding too much on your way to the runway. -
NORDIC RESPONSE – a new Viggen campaign for the Kola Map
Gretsch_Man replied to Gretsch_Man's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Thanks for the feedback! That guy standing at holding point for RWY32 was supposed to be triggered by another AI Viggen flight coming from the opposite site of the airbase arriving at that holding point BEFORE the player. I suppose you somehow managed to arrive there first... I have modified the MIZ file. Now the player can also trigger the guy to move. I have included the MIZ file in my top message. Sorry for the inconvenience. -
NORDIC RESPONSE – a new Viggen campaign for the Kola Map

Thank you! I hope you gonna like it. Thank you for your kind words! Much appreciated. -
Hey guys, I've just uploaded my new AJS-37 Viggen campaign for the Kola map called Nordic Response. Here's a short description of what to expect: Nordic Response is a 'realistic lite' campaign for the Viggen, consisting of 12 missions, many of which are loosely based on / inspired by Heatblur's Mjolnir Response and Wrath of Thunder campaigns. This time, however, the action will take place not over the Caucasus, but the Kola peninsula, depicting a hypothetical war between NATO and Russia in the early 1990s. What’s more, in Nordic Response the player is also to carry out an interception, as well as performing Toss Bombing & Radar Bombing missions, among other things. Sounds interesting? Well, don’t get too excited yet! Been a ‘realistic lite’ campaign, Nordic Response is neither super realistic nor super hardcore. I tried to make things as plausible as I could, but it was also important to me to create a (hopefully) fun and entertaining experience. Besides, I’m not an expert in the matter. As far as complexity and difficulty of the missions are concerned, I think this campaign is roughly on a par with Mjolnir Response / Wrath of Thunder. This was my very first campaign for DCS and to be honest, I'm not too happy with the results. But since I’ve put a considerable amount of time into making it, I figured I might as well just share it with you guys anyway. The campaign can be downloaded here Edit: Here is the modified MIZ file for mission 1 for those who are having trouble with that the guy standing at the holding point for RWY 32 not moving. FROG-7 Mission 4 - Employee-1 explodes on takeoff
Gretsch_Man replied to EnzoF98's topic in Bugs & Problems
Yep, same here. I tried the mission twice, but same result. Btw, Employee-2 meets the same fate when attempting to take off. I've flown the mission anyway, but after that take off "accident", triggers appeared to be dead. -
No campaign bug - Spotting kills it for me
Gretsch_Man replied to Lt_Jaeger's topic in F-4 MIG Killers Campaign
I just did. Let's hope ED does something about it. -
As the title says, once a mission has either been loaded by a trigger or reloaded by F10 menu, icon settings are ignored and only the setting DOT NEUTRAL works (I've set mine to SYMBOL ONLY). This has a big impact on the campaign MIG Killers by Reflected (I guess this also applies to his other campaign Speed & Angels, although I haven't checked). See also below link, where this issue was discussed in more detail. I would appreciate if someone at ED could look into this. Thank you.

I was hoping that this will be fixed with today's update. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. -
Hmm...my experience with this campaign has been quite the opposite. As regards to triggers, I found this campaign to be rock steady. Regarding your problem of the AI not taxing ahead of you, does that happen while still on the ramp or while holding short? If you are still on the ramp, then you first need to finish the start-up of the aircraft. Once you do, you should get the message "Press spacebar to give a thumbs up" (or something like that). After pressing spacebar, the mission should proceed without a hitch. If you got stuck while holding short, then I guess you missed an item on the check list, which you can double-check on your kneeboard.

I just finished the campaign. Although it's sometimes a bit rough around the edges (voice overs etc.), I think it does have a certain charm. It was certainly fun and entertaining to play through. I especially liked the background story and also the variety of missions/mission locations. My only gripe is that during those missions where the player is the lead, the ai wingman does not engage any ground targets. Telling my wingman to "Attack ground targets" or "Attack air defense", he responses with an "Unable". Ordering him to engage mission target and rejoin, he gives me a "Roger", then doing nothing (he's not firing even a single shot). After a short while he just tells me he's rejoining. Not sure what the problem is... I would really like to see more campaigns for the Hind (one of my favorite DCS modules), either for the Afghanistan map (Soviet invasion) or for the Kola map (cold war gone hot scenario).

Speaking of which, I noticed that at the start of each mission, various label settings are allowed, for example SYMBOL ONLY. However, once the actual training mission files are loaded, only the DOT NEUTRAL label can be activated. Was that done on purpose?
