Servers down a lot these days. Donkey at ACG has been helping restart it. Unfortunately they didn't realise it needed updated. So now we have no flare or fuel pods for Migs again. Also nukes are probs available again. But the server is down again so... lol

At the time you posted this I believe the server was up. make sure you are running DCS 2.5 Also try restarting DCS if you can't find it in the list. Sorry if these sound simple and don't help :thumbup:

Massive thanks again to Ciribob and Alpenwolf once again for getting a SRS server up for us. Last few nights have been such a blast on the server. Special thanks to the GCI's EVo aka comie2 CAT Sport Tricker Chip aka Dustoff and anyone else I missed... Who have spent hours on end helping us out regardless of our inability to read a compass (Acidmind), use of foul language (HERO) and shouting at you (I'm sorry).

Sorry man I will apologist for that one. :doh: I'm kinda lost with the rest of your post tho sorry. Let me answer this part of your OP Because the Viggen has no BVR capability and fits in perfectly into the tailored missions created to suit within visual range combat scenarios. Now that part you're going to have to elaborate on. What are these advantages? Why are they bad? Why is flying the jet you're best in bad? How does this apply to the server in a negative manner? Don't get hung up on titles.. If you want BVR go to the 104th if you want BFM come to ACG Cold War. The server is in the top 3 most popular servers for good reason: The missions Alpenwolf created are awesome with jets and Heli's we love and...and we don't get spammed by BVR missiles from jets that fly on both sides! :thumbup:

@Ciribob Hi man, Thanks for helping the ACG Cold War Server peeps with SRS We are all having a blast using it. Very few issues for the guys switching from TS to SRS. In the spirit of feedback I have a few suggestions if you like: 1. Knowing who is connected would be a great benefit while there is no dedicated DCS integration. Like a client list when you click on number of connections. Then we can see who is online & check if someone is connected correctly. 2. The preview audio feature doesn't seem to reflect the reality of how you sound to others in game. E.g. If I check my mic in SRS it sounds fine even at full boost, in game I sound like a crack whore. :cry: OR Mr roboto. 3. Tooltips, If it's possible to add tooltips when you hover the mouse over features or text, they could explain what they do. 4. Visually I think it could do with a pimp up but that's just cosmetic and it's in no way terrible. 5. Now this is a big one for me... VR integration of the overlay. For obvious reasons :pilotfly: Just my opinions feel free to ignore them :thumbup: Oh and with regards to the full integration into DCS, they could just add an option to enable/disable SRS in options and BINGO, problemo solved. Keep us the good work and Thanks again.
