  1. Hi, thanks for the reply. All the carrier bits work. You check in with flight and the package, depart the carrier, you get the audio with the aircraft that has a fault and has to return and then there is the text about contacting Thor using F10 menu and I can’t get the F10 to appear. I dial in the correct freq and tried both entering freq and the pre programmed number. Tried both comm 1 and 2. Then you get the info about not pushing till 11:50 so held at wpt1 until time then pushed thinking I may be able to get f10 at push time but no joy. as said run it a few times but can’t figure it out.
  2. I can use the F10 menu upto the transit to the Waypoint 1 hold. Prompt says use F10 to contact mission commander and not leave hold till push time. Tried it 4 times and each time I can’t get the F10 and initially thought it was a DCS error but happens each time. am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?
  3. Hi Razbam, any chance you could implement the helmet visor like you have done in the M2000? it’s terrific in the Mirage and would really help in the AV8. Thanks
  4. Bump - same issue here. Quest2, 3070ti, 12700k, 32Gb
  5. Question - Should i use MT or ST exclusivley? Scenario - Quick quesiton, having had the most recent update I hvae created two desk top items, one with MT and one for ST. I've been switching back and forth between the two largely down to loading times. I use ST for Mission Editor and MT when flying. Is this advised or should i be sticking to one method? Also, of when using ST i also use Occuls Tray Tool and have positive experience with frames aroiund the 50/60 mark. I find when i use OTT with MT it has a hinderence and reduces frames. I suspect this is as OTT isn't configured for MT use yet possibly. So when using MT opt to use it in vanila more ie DCS only with no other things running. i7 - 12700k 3070ti 32 GB RAM Occulus Quest 2 for VR
  6. Load times on None MT are pretty quick. Although having a go at it this morning it does seem to be quicker in MT/VR so maybe it is the shaders. i'll keep plugging away and report back.
  7. I am having very long loading times in the initial mission load screen. Occurs both in Single player, Multiplayer and loading into the Mission Editor. Sits on Load screen as if game has hung however after about 10 mins it loads into the game and seems to run OK. I am running the following i7 12700k 32MB Ram 3070ti Win10 Quest 2 for VR Don't know what other information you will need but happy to provide
  8. Having played around with it It looks like your suggestion of 40 being a key point of the alignment. I've actually started doing this however the counter argument is that you start up the aircraft, start alignment and as that is aligning you set up the rest of the aircraft like stores management, weapons, planning mission and add/change steerpoints etc.
  9. Gentlemen, On the UFD there is a button WOF, which seems to have an action when pressed. The manual calls it Waypoint Over Fly however I can't seem to find out what it does and how it works in any of the manuals. Firstly is it implemented and secondly, as the title says, how is it used?
  10. I stand corrected - Annoyingly I knew that so no idea why i called it Time over Steerpoint! Thanks anyway.
  11. Gentlemen, I tried yesterday, process was battery, APU, system switches, Alignment to Norm, enter co-ords on UFD, and didn't then do anything until fully aligned (state 10) then switch to NAV and load weapons etc etc. and it worked. I had full alignment in that I had steerpoint and distance to as well as the red flag on the compass unit disappeared. I will experiment with setting the alignment going and adding weapons during alignment to see if that has an effect and will report back again.
  12. Chaps, Thanks - I thought I was getting the same issue regardless of whether i enter the co-ords or not. I'll experiment later today.
  13. Hi, Yes, moving knob to NAV once alignment is down to 10 and Align is flashing in the HUD. Again, the steerpoint and distance are displayed on the HMD when I turn my head but not up on the HUD. I can't find anything on the HUD panel (down on the RHS) which solves this.
  14. Thanks, tried this last night and didn't edit/re-enter the co-ords and same problem. Interesting - I'll have a look at this as I tend to set the INS Align going and then set up the aircraft including loading weapons so this might be a solution. I'll have a go later and report back. However, when doing this the alignment does reach 10. Yes, happy with how I switch between Nav, A-A, A-G and what that looks like in HUD. One other thing I found out yesterday is that whilst the steer point and distance (looks like this - 56>03, ie 56 miles to spt 3) does appear in the HMD but not the HUD. Will try to diagnose later with all the above suggestions and will respond. Thanks all.
