Custer's cavalry . seems Custer wasn't the indians butcher as the legend wanted him to be . Washita battle appears to be a normal battle and Custer was respected by lot of indians and loved by his troops Sitting bull words "Custer was a brave chief , indians respected him and didn't scalped him"

yeah , we can sell Rafales to the english if they want . see they land well on anglo-saxons carriers better than the F-18 and less expensive than the JSF
-
the F-18 is a very good plane , great A2A US missiles and can do any task . the JSF is more prestigious but in these times of crisis i think prestige should let place to pragmatism . UK already has the excellent Typhoon so honor is safe

10 billions pounds is a huge amount of money very huge

such a waste MSDS (R. dominicana) abandonded dream planes in 3D http://www.airliners.net/photo/Argos/Curtiss-C-46-Commando/0324657/&sid=b13dc956c641c086c3d35efdf0b1116d http://www.airliners.net/photo/Aerolineas-Argo/Lockheed-C-121A-Constellation/0324590/&sid=b13dc956c641c086c3d35efdf0b1116d http://www.airliners.net/photo/Trans-Dominican-Airways/Convair-440-75-Metropolitan/0324884/&sid=b13dc956c641c086c3d35efdf0b1116d http://www.airliners.net/photo/Trans-Dominican-Airways/Convair-440-38-Metropolitan/0324883/&sid=b13dc956c641c086c3d35efdf0b1116d http://www.airliners.net/photo/Trans-Dominican-Airways/Douglas-DC-6B/0324882/&sid=b13dc956c641c086c3d35efdf0b1116d http://www.airliners.net/photo/Douglas-DC-7CF/0324881/&sid=b13dc956c641c086c3d35efdf0b1116d http://www.airliners.net/photo/Aero-Rental-Cargo/Douglas-DC-6A-B/0324880/&sid=b13dc956c641c086c3d35efdf0b1116d http://www.airliners.net/photo/Trans-Dominican-Airways/Convair-440-75-Metropolitan/0324557/&sid=b13dc956c641c086c3d35efdf0b1116d

today nobody knows where the oil has gone but some (neutral) scientists tend to agree that it may have evaporated or been assimilated by bacterias (conditional)
-
carriers are expensive to build and operate . you don't need lot of bases , just to have a runway in service and a fleet of tankers . only the USA have carriers nowadays and i believe with their debt there'll probably have to do some cuts in their fleet too
-
Does the royal navy need carriers , i go further do modern armies absolutly need carriers . see France we built one and always delay the PA2 , we choosed to build amphibian vessels instead , less expensive and with a big modularity . according to the design of th QE and PoW a non-vertical take off plane would be a strange choice as there's only a linear runway or there's another possibility it's the cancelling or requalification , of the british carriers . UK has lot of colonies crumbs that can be used as bases too

i didn't express correctly , they captured 1/4 of the escaping oil . concerning the surface oil i read they used 4000 skimmer-boats . now a problem is almost solved it's the fire that is at 4 km from nuclear facilities i Russia
-
they entered last phase of repairs , now they are trying to fill up the well definitly . the question now is to find where the oil has gone , seems it as almost complety disappeared , nothing is visible at the surface anymore . some say it may have been digested by bacterias which are prolific in that world area , but there's another theory that says the oil may have gone at the ocean bottom and if so , it'll have desastrous consequences on the fauna .. BP says it has captured a quarter of the oil . let's hope it's the bacterias

my parents had one , cool car and very cheap maintenance  . that car was made originally for country men there was only one project specification being able to cross a ploughed field with a bag of eggs on the seat and not to break any ( , very soft )

Nuclear dissassion is the only thing a government shoudn't save money on . with a nuclear strike capability a country could nearly skip out over all its army . i wish you were right Pilotasso but the debt here is a huge problem and the government is trying to save money everywhere it cans , and even if sometimes i feel the effects (social aids more difficult to obtain) , i globaly agree with the actual politics . one shouldn't spend the money he doesn't have that's as simple as that . the problem with credits you see it's that when you realize you're in the red it's too late . if the situation escapes to any control then next step is chaos with open door to any possibilties civil war ...

don't know in UK but the debt here in France is a real problem . jobs cuts , saving money in all ministeries and the list goes on .. if my government would say everyday that money savings have to be done and on another side would purchase such expensive plane with no really need of it , i wouldn't understand . JSF is an outstanding plane but i think governments have no choice because by throwing money by the windows one day'll come that lenders won't thrust anymore and this could lead to serious problems
-
that is very cool
-
it has almost the rate of climb of military birds :music_whistling: :D
-
shows well how huge is the plane
-
depend on what mission . SU-30 is IMHO more powerful and has the huge russian weapons panel but i think for penenetration (low level at high speed) the Hornet is better more reactive . concerning A2A i think it's matter of pilot ..

Night news nice little plane for antisubmarine warfare . i wonder if it could take off from a carrier , in that case it could be used as basis for the development of an european E-2 equivalent also ? the Super frelon has made its last flight (my favorite french helo) link (cool bunch of pics @ meretmarine) A2G modular weapon system successfully tested AASM S-15 UAV (Stemme S-6 basis)

yeh and why not 20% of the planet land as we are at it ..
