  1. Seems that a repeater in my network was causing the issue. with the repeater disconnected the problem didn't reappear anymore
  2. Getting closer. It is not the laptop. This morning same issue but no laptop or other pc in the network. Switching to hotspot, no problem. Switching to guest network, also no problem. I guess this is somewhere in the network settings on the pc for the "standard" wlan network.
  3. It became more interesting. With the hotspot on i only see 2. The expected ones. Then i moved to a repeater of the main wlan, 2 servers as well. Then back to the main wlan. 2 servers?!?!?!?! just a thought, could a computer on the same wlan but with vpn tunnel setup could mess things up? Yesterday and today that laptop was up and running but with the latest test for the mobile hotspot the laptop was shutdown.
  4. I dont have a spare router but the mobile hotspot would be possible. Will try that and see what happens. Thx for the suggestion.
  5. maybe a picture explains better. In the meantime hundreds of servers
  6. I can imagine some servers that show up like you mentioned, local, internal and external. But I see like 50 or more servers
  7. hi I have an odd problem with the DCS server. When I launch it and I look it up on the DCS website (Profile - my servers) it pops up as one server with the correct details. However, when I start DCS and look there in the list of multiplayer servers there are many servers with the same name and mission but different IP addresses. Any idea what can causes this? Edit: Seems that I am the only one seeing many of my own server. Checked with other players and they only see 1
  8. Used "Sight Camera Mode" for the first time during a multiplayer event and was wondering if DCS actually stores those Sight Camera Shots. I saw some pictures during game play but in the heat of the battle not really looking as there were enemies still out there Would be nice if these are stored like screenshots
  9. have been testing something out myself in single player and multiplayer as I was facing similar issues. Unfortunately you do not mentioned the frequency you had set for the ACLS. Assuming you have changed the default setting to the setting Matt used in his video (256.0) Altering the ACLS frequency in single player works just fine but using the exact same mission in Multi player you simply do not get the data pushed after you have made the radio call "established" Changing the frequency to the default one (336.0) it works fine in SP and MP for the record. I do have SC, the hornet and running on Beta. Also, my mission is as simple as one carrier and one airborne (client) hornet about 40 miles behind the ship on course
  10. not sure what I am doing wrong but I encounter the following problem: Setting up a quick mission to practice ACLS landings including Tacan (73), ICLS (11) and D/L (336 - default). This mission runs ok in single player and multiplayer and the ACLS approach and landing is completed successfully To fit the needs for multiplayer server I wanted to change the D/L frequency from 336 to 373 so it is recognizable for the carrier we approach. This same mission runs ok in single player mode without problems. However, loading this on the multiplayer server it will not work and I cannot figure out why not. The DATA is not pushed to the aircraft but the whole communication is still the same including say needles etc. For the record, I do have the hornet, SC and running on Beta
  11. hi trying to get some experience with mission building and come across the following. When I add a carrier I only see the icon on the map in mission builder, no matter how much I zoom in. This is a bit difficult with placing elements on the deck. I there any trick to get this visible, in youtube clips about mission creating I can see that the deck should be visible thx
  12. Hi DimSim, good to hear. But how did you accomplish that if I may ask.
  13. good advice, maybe that is the trick to get opentrack working better with a webcam instead of the tabled
  14. hi Concentric, i have opentrack working from my tablet which sort of works. And maybe i need to play around with the settings but it is too nervous for me. And the ministick in the f14 is not assigned yet so i thought a good alternative
