  1. hi, Could someone help me out with applying different DLSS versions? I have this strange behaviour that if I select DLSS Override - Use the application 3D setting in the NVIDIA App, then DLSS 310.3 is being applied in game, however, only preset C. If I try to choose a different preset, such as J, K, or Latest, it reverts back to DLSS 310.2.1 in game. This happens in other games as well such as MSFS. I used DLSS swapper to change the DLL files. I'd appreciate any insight
  2. Hi, currently my Pimax controllers act like a single mouse click in the menus. This make scrolling impossible, and browsing menus very inconvenient. It used to be good, then it got changed to this way. I was hoping it was just a glitch and would change back. I’ve had this issue for a while, can’t recall the last DCS update where controllers worked as they were supposed to. could somebody help explain this change? I would like to use my controllers thumbsticks for scrolling, and the triggers to be able to grab bars in the menu. Currently this is not possible and very inconvenient.

  3. I use VKB stick, with a 2-stage trigger. Of note, in the VKB software, when I hold down second stage of the trigger, then both stage 1 and 2 light up. Could that be messing with the release cue?
  4. You have to be within 1-2 nm from the waypoint to trigger Jester to switch as far as I know
  5. I fly in VR with Quadviews so the quality won't be great. The trackfile is my second attempt at Reflected Red Flag's campaign's GBU-8 mission. In both cases, nothing was released, even though that mission also has checklist that I follow. Let me know if you see anything outstanding! Thanks Tacview-20250511-203802-DCS.zip.acmi
  6. Hi, I'm having trouble releasing GBU-8. Tried it twice now. Cockpit is all set up, direct mode, TV, stations armed, got a lock on TV screen, holding both trigger and pickle, but the bombs aren't releasing. Could my fuse settings be a problem? I believe in all cases I had fuse set to nose or nose&tail. I can see that it should be left to off. But the bomb still should drop shouldn't it? Thanks
  7. Hi, im having difficulty dropping the GBU-8s. I complete the checklist. I get TV signal. I even get a lock-on the target. Then I held the pickle button and nothing happened. I was in a shallow dive. Held pickle for couple seconds. Had a couple runs but couldn’t drop it. Not the best timing for hung ordnance. are there any additional steps involved in the WSO seat that I missed maybe? any tips are appreciated!
  8. I see, thanks! In that case, is there a way I could feel that thru the force feedback? Currently, there is no resistance on the pitch axis when I’m on the ground. Yet, the movement is still slow. Shouldn’t there be some sort of resistance then to movement even when on the ground?
  9. I also wonder why the F14 head movement and stick movement isn’t as compromised as the F4. And why is only pitch axis delayed on the stick but not the roll. I’d prefer F14-like visuals for head and stick movement
  10. Btw, what's the tanker TACAN frequency for Texaco? I found in the inflight guide A/A TACAN 31/94 for AR 641 A. So I should be trying 31 or 94? I found it hard to find Texaco in the clouds during Mission 8, and my buddies just take off with afterburner for which I don't have enough gas
  11. Maybe that’s what it was then. one day I can just hand signal hopefully
  12. Hi, Just thought I'd share my story. On the way back, we get to Arco, I have around 2500 lbs of fuel left. For some reason, I could not contact the tanker (could be vaicom-related, although in previous mission I did not have an issue contacting the tanker). Gave up, figured I'll just divert. Checking Tacan, Tonopah over a 100 miles away.. Nellis was actually closer at around 90 nm, so decided to try to make it. It looked like quite a bit of a stretch. While gliding home, looked up bailout and ejection zones. Was set up for it ready to send it. I got to the primary ejection zone which is around 15 nm from Nellis. Still had some juice since I've been gliding at like 250 knots from 30 000ft. Nellis is only 14 nm now, and still have around 500 lbs left.. Continued at the recommended glide speed of 215 after jettisoning everything I had left on. Made it straight in to Nellis. Made it to the parking spot with around 200 lbs, checklists all went well and got the debrief chalkboard. That was quite the sortie! Needless to say I failed the fuel management part. Not sure why the radio didn't work this time. Tried channel 14 with Jester in Command, then tried channel 14 on the front radio with me in command. Arco wouldn't respond. Maybe the chief who put the new radio in needs to be grounded Now gotta refly it to hit the target actually!
  13. It worked this time as intended. I wonder if initially it didn't work as I had input some data into the bombing table early on in the mission. The mission was very fun. I'm having real difficulty getting to the target though. The SA-6 launches like 4 missiles at me out of which I can dodge 2. This happens all before getting to the target, and with dodging my ToT is all messed up. Looking at the Tacview, the Monkey Tornado flight takes out the SA-6, but only after my flight's ToT. Is that the planned timeline? I wonder how I could make it to the target. Jinking didn't help xD
  14. Hi, In mission 3 as commander, am I supposed to switch to channels 16 or 17 myself? I had the command with Jester and the comms didn't fire on my first try. I was already on my way back, trying to pick up the mission comms. Switched to channel 16 and 17 and then Jester started complimenting me on my accomplishment of becoming mission commander. This was supposed to fire off before ingress I think. The last message in the message history was Pepsi going to Tac comms I think. I had the usual radio setup of Channel 1 and 1 on the front with Jester command of Radio, and didn't see a prompt otherwise. But I'd understand if as commander I'm supposed to do it by myself BTW, I ate all SAMs in this one. Not sure if the enemy even had any left.
  15. Hi, Completed mission 02. Getting navigation right was very fun and satisfying. On my return, the chalkboard said that I had messed up the procedures (i'm thinking it might be a hard deck violation?), and granted me 80%. The mission score in the menu shows 100% though. Just wanted to check in if the two are correlated or DCS just scores based on mission completion? Thanks
