  1. Hi rattler :)

If you are refering to the installation of the AdA Mod, right now, it is not compatible with Walmis F-15.

But we still plan to release a small compatibility addon.

And by the way, Majesco has been doing the modifications in the meinit.xml to make a merged file, I answered him at lockonfiles a couple of days ago, but my post disappeared I don't know how or why.

I'll send him a MP and see what we can do :)

    Cheers :)

    Hub.

    Thanks HubMan: standing by.

  2. my English is bad,but i like this forums.i think i never give up study English in my life...

thanks friends of all in this forums,i'will study English very hard.

you are doing ok with English. Glad you got your question answered. Ask for help when needed you will be understood. Have a nice day.

  3. I have modman6.2 which is ok. Now I have the ada version 1.0 and the new one with high res skins. How do I install. I have the Walmis f15c and have spent a lot of time refining it as much as possible. I don't want to lose it. I also have a German Mig29a with a lot of changes and addons, I think I am ok with that one but would like some advise on installing without lose of the Walmis F15C. Thanks for any help. cheers:helpsmilie:

  4. Do you have the walmis template? Look at my sig. Now that was a skin done by another modder for the old F15 .Got the old template and overlaped it, usinig both templates, I layered one over the other then brought up the walmas template and got the proper positions for his pieces. The skin fits perfect. Hope this might get you on the right road. Cheer.

  5. Could you tell us where you saw the TV review ?

Groove I would be glad to if I could. It is a program we get on cable that comes from the U.S. and that's about all I can say. It was quite obvious that they were befind the times. It really was not a bad review as they said that upon release it would be a nice helicopter simulator. It is quite likely this program gets pre candidate releases on all games and does a review on what they see and also state that upon release any issues they have seen would be fixed. They do not say that for all game reviews. They did say that of ED's DCS:BS, a positive remark in my book. I support ED and you have made the right decision as I have previously said in the forums. Like all fixed wing pilots we are a little disappointed but that is not to say most of us will be trying DCS:BS we will. Ed is hanging in in a tough field, we will hang with you.

  6. What are you getting at rattler? The game as shown at the demos is not even a release candidate; of course it has bugs. This is pretty non-news news.

If you read it correctly, I think that is what they were saying. It was a TV show that airs in the U.S. and does reviews on all games. I think I said that the issues they saw would be fixed upon release. Yes the demos are not a release candidate, I think we all know that. I am sure DCS:BS will be just fine on release. I also think that they indicated that in their review. Don't panic They said when it comes out it would be a nice helicopeter simulator. Key word is when it comes out it will be a nice helicopter simulator. It was not a bad review. I don't think I indicated it was a bad review and if you toke it that way, I appologize, DCS:BS will be just fine when it arrives. You are taking your time and that is a positive point. Just wanted to bring it to your attention but it is not a bad review. I would say all games they test are pre candidate releases. There was more but If you would like to hear about it I would do this in a PM. Not that it's bad, it is not. but I would keep it between you and me. There is enough flak about DCS:BS and I have stated that I will purchase it when it comes out but was only disappointed that no jets were in it on release. Not trying to stir up anything. PM me and lets you and I get on the right track here. We seem to be a little off track. Cheers.

  7. Not good news maybe, found it Riddled with bugs and doesn't perform as expected. They mentioned there is a lot of work to be done. However he pointed out that before it is release it should be much better and should be a nice sim for people who like to fly helocopter sims. He did say that the release date that they had was Dec.2007 so now it is some time in 2008 so they must be addressing the issues.:music_whistling:

  8. SIM-MOD is also continuing to mod lockon. All works that started already will be available on lockon eventually. :)

    Cheers:thumbup:

I am totally relaxed with what you guys are doing for LOFC, that is why I am not worried about it. You guys will make it stunning. When I mean you guys that means sim-mod too. All of you are doing great things for LOFC. You know how I feel about you fellas!!

  9. Well thank you for your kind word..Flattered here :)

When i said "wait and see" it was not just pure hope.

Since Wags announced it, i just want to give you some news..

    check http://forum.digitalcombatsimulator.com/showthread.php?t=230

    What does it mean?..

It means new and really improved terrain, it means gorgeous skins,

it means hi detailed objects, it means DCS is gonna look just fine :)

It means the DCS is not just gonna be a good helicopter hat over an old coat. It was not gonna be anyhow. But now.. you can bet on it!

    Officially!

    Cheers

    Yeniceri

Thanks Yeni, your words mean a lot. I trust your advice without question. Thanks very much for your explaination. Now I am looking forward to DCS:BS. Now some pressure for you. Can LOFC come close. Ha Ha, Just kidding I know you guys will do your best and that seems to be stunning in what we have seen. Cheers, Thanks, Have a good day:thumbup:

  10. i guess you are talking a little early..

Lets just wait and see what future will bring us!..

Yeniceri: you are one of the most respected people in here. I know DCS:BS is going to look a little better than LOFC, till you guys do your magic. All I was trying to say in this thread is it is not graphics we are seeing but improved texture. Two different things. Yani, maybe I can't put in words what DCS:BS is. I am not saying it's bad, in fact I have stated it was the right decision for ED. There is so much excitement over how good this is over LOFC, well I think you know better than anyone the answer to that. Man I respect you so much that this is my last post in trying to explain. I will do as you suggested, watch for the future.

Graphics , texture fine line to try and define unless it is a person such as yourself.Cheers, keep up the tremendous work:thumbup:

  11. Well if it's Graphics ya'all are after I hear Ace Combat 6 are looking for a Coupla Virtual Aces............;)

Me - I'll stick to the High-Fidelity Advanced Flight Model that ED can offer me. All the rest is a Bonus :)

What we want is realism in all areas. Not to much to ask for in a NEW flight sim. The thing is it is not NEW. Just the ka-50. Which by the way I am not knocking, it is a fantastic piece of work. Hats off to ED for such detail in the ka-50. Rest falls a little short. I do hope they make it up in the future. Contrary to popular belief by some, DCS:BS was the logical move for ED. That does not say as a LOFC fan that I am not disappointed because I am. LOFC needs a patch and ED has admitted to this. Ride the wave of DCS:BS and patch LOFC. Not to much to ask IMHO.

  12. Betrayed by who ? Nobody owe you something here as far as i know.

So please calm down. We dont need drama. Wait for the game, im sure you will like it !

Groove: BS meaning the ka-50 will be just awesome to fly, we do not doubt that. I think IMO that the betrayed attitude is that for quite some time , since LOFC that the community were promised fixes. Now I am not saying they won't be done but they certainly have been put on the back burner so to speak. We are not sure where the fixes fit in the ED plan as the Apache and A10 have been mentioned as the next installments in DCS:BS so as a community we see the resources busy with this. the "if resources are available" does have a lot of people upset and I am sure you can appreciate that. We know ED is a small company with limited resources and they have to make money, that is understood as well. Somewhere in all of this the customer has to come into play as well. For a small company this is a very thin line to walk as patches don't bring in revenue. Yes LOFC has been patched for that we are grateful but even ED knows that a Patch should be done before they are through with the older Flight Sim and continue on their road of DCS:BS. To get rid of UBI, it was a logical move. ED also has a very large community with their LOFC sim. and it does deserve better attention IMO than their statement says. This is the main problem and I understand from an ED point of view , a very hard one. Sometimes we just got to swallow that pill and finish something that was started and then continue into the future. I think I will leave it here as this is getting to long, hope you understand what I am trying to say. Cheers.

  13. Yup, the flight model is all what counts for me, all the graphics are nice and shit, flippable switches and knobs flying the Ka-50, errm, knobs in the ka-50 are all fine, but in the end, the flight model counts, and no damn FSX can come close. Maybe X-plane with more componenets and a good digital fly by wire simulation (lol, simulating a virtual system), but that is for FO to prove.

Dear god, when I said FSX , I made it perfectly clear GRAPHICS, not texture upgrade. I know FSX does not cut it. DID NOT SAY THAT. A lot of people here have texture and Graphics mixed up. That is what I am trying to point out. Yes DCS:BS has much better texture than LOFC. Hence a little more realizium.

  14. Beg to differ - that's Sukhumi, the capital of Abkhazia and the likely epicenter of a Caucasus conflict - only now it has its lake (easy to spot and navigate towards from a distance) and its railroad station is in the right place. Looks like a sports stadium in the right place too. And there are a lot more roads through the urban center now, so you'll have to search for driving vehicle targets instead of always ambushing them along the same one street.

The "boxes" are not just more numerous - they seem to be more carefully and accurately placed than before. Interesting..

    -SK

I agree with your statement to a point. I am only saying it's the same old square, rectangle buildings, etc. Yes they have more roads etc. and that is good, the cities needed to be made larger and a little more accurate. All I am trying to say is it is not new but an upgraded to the old stuff, just more of it and yes more attention to what it should look like, re lakes, roads, sports fields as you have mentioned. It is still not new graphics just improvements to terrain.

  15. "Boxes" notwithstanding - it's the Advanced Flight Model I'm after; anything less just ain't good enough! So apart from the T-Frog the Shark is the next best thing that I'll use to blow things up and I'm afraid FSX just does not cut it ;)

Didn't say it cut it. I don't like FSX series but I have to give them credit for the graphics environment.

  16. I gotta clear one thing up, its not my site. Its the great rocky's site :)

(gotta get that out there otherwise rocky must be like "WHAT?!" and kick me out of the beta forum )

Anyway, its a place where modders, skinners, and other members come together to share our knowledge and build some new mods for lock on. Its great when all the great minds come together. I'm sure once the files are finished it would be distributed on the lock on fan sites like lockonfiles...etc. So trust me you guys would know too, but it doesn't hurt to come and register at our forum (I mean rocky's forum ;)) just to check out some progress, updates, and screens of the latest project in works.

Thanks SKU: Sorry Rocky, I would love to be a member just to watch the development. Who knows my mind may come up with something you can use. Miracles do happen. Anyway I would be glad to be a member just for the thrill of seeing what you very talented people are doing for us Lockon fans. From what I have already seen, there are some stellar things happening for LOFC.Thanks and keep up the tremendous work, I know this is very time consuming on everyone who is working on projects, my hat is off in respect.

  17. Hi. your sim-mod.com site, I would understand is for people who can help in any way with your projects. Is this the place where we will download the finished projects as they come up? Thanks for any info on the site. Cheers. Keep up the outstanding work.

  18. If you have problems with registration, I will send them direct link about PM! ;)

Thanks Viper, had no problem getting download, appreciate your help. Really looking forward to the finished project. Love the euro. If all these projects get finished, next year will be something to behold with LOFC. Ground textures, new A/C and some very nice ones too, troops, vechicles man the list goes on. As I said thank god for the modders support to this community. Lockon will be around for years. Thanks again for your support. Have a good day!!!cheers.
