I don't necessarily feel the need to fly lead. Anyways, I am just interested if real life A-10C can pass SPI location to other aircraft. The fact that I can order my wingman to nav to my SPI gives another clue. I also can call in F-16 SEAD and they light up my TADS with a bunch of bad guys. They set 'em up - I knock 'em down!

Yes, I think this probably needs closer examination. Either we should see on TADS who our wingman is prosecuting or we shouldnt. And if we should see, how can we get it before tasking the wingman to attack?

YES! I am able to use him to help point targets but only when I tell him to attack. So, he says contact - I tell him to attack - I see the enemy pop up on my TADS as his SPI - I tell him not to attack but hold a pattern - then I prosecute the enemy just as I would like with Jstars. I cant be the only one doing this.

right, but that doesnt help me im usually allover the place it seem if i tell him to attack then his SPI starts to appear on my TADS? can i get him to do that without telling him to attack?

Many times my wingman will say "contact" and i presume this means he has eyes on the target. Is there a way for him to relay this information to me? my TADS? Thanks yall.

what command to make the mav focus onto the SPI (assuming the tgp is on point mode track)?

OK. I think I may be good enough to play online. But clicking on the A-10 mulitplyer doesnt show mnay people playing. I s there a different place to log onto to play with yall? thanks, jb

ok - can someone explain the loading of controller profiles? it looks like some people describe loading a profile unde the keyboard column and again under the joystick column?? I always thought before that i only clicked on any of the cells, loaded a lua profile, exited and it worked. but now, no profiles seem to load properly. please help.

well this is really wierd - loading the default profile does not seem to do what it is supposed to should loading the default profile make the puase button = pause/break ? what should i be looking for in the lua file to verify? i already reinstalled A-10C a few days ago to remedy this problem of not properly loading controller lua's. It must be me becuase i cant find anyone else with this problem. THanks for any help.

I am having trouble loading a custom (SFJackBauer's) profile and now I want to load in the default contorller profile to get back to ground zero. However, there are several lua profiles in the joystick directory (DCS A10-C Beta/Config/Input/Aircrafts/A10C/joystick). Does anyone know which to load or how to get back to the default controls? Regarding loading JackBauer's profile, when i follow his instructions and load he controller profile, I immeadiately know that something did not work properly becuase the puase button is not mapped as it should so i can never start the sim. Anyone else experience this? Please help. Thanks yall.

when i give it full throttle i only get about 82% on the fan dials. is this normal? i checked the linear axis of the throttle and it looks good, but i think i should be getting 100%. any thoughts?

i recently had to reload the lua profile and *.pr0 file, but it does not work like it did before. I have lost the mappings for pause/break, escape, HOTAS slew , etc. i tried it a few more times and even downloaded them again from this thread but it is not the same. any thoughts?

well, i wont be playing A-10C for a long while. earlier in this post i inquired why i couldnt load the pr0 file as my Saitek program only accepted *.dat files. Someone kindly told me to update the saitek program and drivers. I after I did so, my computer rebooted and now i get a BSOD c000021a error. After searching the internet, it looks like there is no real fix and a format is in order. I dont know why im posting this here. it just sucks. thanks for your time.

Did anyone find a fix for this? I too recently tried to update the Saitek X52 drivers and got the c000021a error upon restart. This is horrible and it does not seem that there is anyway out of it. Please help.

all i really did was click a cell in the controls programming section, and load a different profile. . . so i dont think i overwrote any files. Is there a default profile i can load?

Is there way to globally restore default controls? i loaded a lua file to change controls but now i want to bring back the defaults. Thanks, JB

is this a X52 profile and not a X52-PRO profile? it looks like i can only load*.dat files to my X52
