Was flying last night and today and an issue popped up out of nowhere and it seems to only be with the viper which makes it even more strange...Some of buddies dont know either so figured Id get some more eyes on it. Any communication sent to tower, tanker, anything with in game "" menu commands wont respond. I can hear everyone else's calls. Mine they hear nothing. No response from anything. Yes everything is set perfectly. I just get no response when in the viper now. Out of nowhere. Nothing was changed. Nothing with outside software, VA, Viacom, SRS. All fine and dont conflict with anything else. I even uninstalled everything, repaired, check even sound settings everywhere else even though it shouldn't matter as it works in every other module except the Viper for me. Im at a loss here. Out of solutions. Any suggestions.......

Possible to fly like this or able to adjust the horizon axis i guess if you understand what I mean.

is there specific requency for AOC now? I think i updated mine and it did work but only tried it once. I had no sound issue with AOC few weeks ago and it was due to sound settings i messed with in the settings. Might not be your issue but maybe recheck them even though you didnt touch them. It drove me nuts

i just delete the chatter command or have unchecked the keypress for it so it. I dont use it

where is the new VAICOM PRO for DCS World.vap located. I can find an old one.

Dont worry about the \ button. do you those buttons that bringing up the menu set as transmitting uhf/vhf comms? I dealt with this so many times.

i got mine working again. thank god. yes it is worth it even if it's just basic commands.

I have profiles I got from someone for hornet and viper. have bailey's as well. so create new profile. import the viacom profile for dcs. then daisy chain one of the profiles for the viper or hornet right?

i had it all working for a bit and couldnt fly for the last month. now i messed it all up. Im literally going insane trying to get this all back up and running.

My 7700k and Maximus formula ix both went this week. Debating what to do. I had coverage in then so I get about 760 in credit to spend or put towards something else. I'm getting the same board for sure and was going to go 9700k but I'm open for others convincing. Have an aorus 2080ti when I upgraded flmy 1080. Been with Asus ROG for awhile. I just had to resetup some things. Had to reinstall srs, voice attack, viacom pro and added the profiles i use. I dont seem to be getting any sounds or feedback from anything in game related. ect. AWACS calls. JTAC. ATC. I will get the text response on screen/vr but no sound back. Any suggestions or point me in the right direction on maybe something i touched or messed up

Never felt so good to have so many thoughts going on about the viper finally debuting in DCS and I finally went VR this summer. What setup do I want. How will I handle cheek soreness from smiling so much in the pit. do I have a baby sitter available this weekend....scratch that. does the wifey want to go away with the kid for a "spa day" on me ;-) I can listen to football instead of watching sunday and is there beer in the firdge? Ok back to my question. Im torn on my HOTAS decision as I have the hog & the cougar (modded but not fssb). Going to be an issue at all using a10 stick and also using cougar throttle. (trying to think doesnt the cougar throttle connect to the stick or is it vice versa). It's in my attic =\ I mean I prefer the cougar throttle but my a10 stick just seems in better condition but either will do the job obviously. I honestly didnt think I'd be rushing this week to fly my baby. I could use my cougar setup as well. I'd be happy to switch back full time to my cougar throttle. just is perfect imo. like play dough molded to my hand. Now next playdough project with the kid....cougar replica.

Your post basically sums up my experience as well (also BMS guy along side here). And VS just dont work for me for the exact same reasons. The ability to plan your mission on the go in MP with others is not there without extra effort outside the game. Sure BMS also has it MP downfalls as well (not sim/scenario based). Just old UI and how its setup. Issue I had with VS in both DCS & BMS experience is some of the rules and I get it needed in some cases. The monthly activity issue especially in the squadron's flights. Love the fact there is that option but in reality, having timing be considered for not only one timezone or even across the globe to nail it can be frustrating. If you have kids thats another issue. Some times it just doesnt work out. Timing/Responsibilities do and will continue to change. Could be on a bunch one month or week and hardly on another time. Just want to get up in the air, learn and enjoy the sim with anyone wanting to do the same but in a manner that we can still try to execute some sort of plan

I been in love with the VR experience as Im new to it but I wont lie, dcs on my asus pg34q is reallllllly nice too.

I been mainly flying open beta only. I didnt even realize thats what I been flying lately and I realized my stable is outdated so I updated it. Now for whatever reason, none of my devices show up in open beta no matter what i do but in the stable they are all there. Warthog & CH Pedals. Both dont show. Is this a repair thing issue? From what I remember I thought I did repair the open beta and it still didnt work but trying to remember my panic blow up at my pc last night while the kids were driving me insane through it all.

i had it happen randomly where he would keep saying it no matter what. not sure what caused it or remember what mission i was doing. maybe it was my AAR mission i randomly made. i cant say i know the cause i have experienced it
