  1. Hi, Thanks for replying. Yes, I have waited to the end, when the IP says to use Escape to go to the next lesson. I don't know enough to fiddle with the 'saved games.' However, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
  2. I am new to DCS, but a long time simmer and RW pilot. My problem is that I cannot move past the arrival to Nellis AFB. The Escape key doesn't work. I tried it on three different keyboards. I am on a dedicated computer with a homebuild fighter cockpit. There are seven different controllers; joystick, HOTAS, rudders, and four Leo Bondar I/O cards. They all work on P3D and MSFS. So, I don't think it is a hardware issue. I tried clicking to the next mission. I get an image of Red Flag, but it still opens up to the C-130 landing. As a former real world F-4 driver, I am looking forward to relearning BFM and ACM without all the Gs. But, being stuck in the Squadron going through endless check in paperwork is killing me. John
  3. Thank you! Yes, Toby and I still email every so often. He is doing team acrobatics real time, lucky dog. I will say that this DCS F-16 makes me feel like a 90 day wonder butter bar wandering through the Pentagon. It is a challenge for this old man. I need to catch up with the jet.
  4. I am brand new to DCS. However, I was a real world pilot. I flew the T-38A in pilot training. At the time, not all the T-38's had AOA, so we calculated approach speed based on fuel remaining and used that. In the F-4C we had AOA and used it. However, we still calculated approach speed based on remaining fuel. The reason was to back up the AOA. It has been know to be wrong. I am enjoying the DCS F-16. It is a fun airplane to fly. Makes me think I am 24 again. John
  5. It is not just the Cougar. I have a RealSimulator FSSB force sensor stick and I noticed how hard it was to control the pitch and roll. I am able to use RS software to increase the gain, to compensate. I might try the -30 curve idea, also. John
