I get the same Problems, I'm new to all this wonderful game. I came back after many years of not playing, last was Flightsim (MSFS 2001). I've found this game 2-3 months ago and got hooked, fascinated by the quality of it's graphics. I too get the same issue, found over this forum that it's been there like forever. I've been practicing landing at airport, but mostly on carriers and find it awkward to leave it that way for that long. I personally would appreciate to see me on final (groove) landing at the right place, I could see what I do wrong, what I can get better at. Most of the times (if not always) particularly at the end of the flight I either land on the grass or water, when in fact I was on the runway...disappointing. Like Groovy Jerry no matter the F-14 model (skin) and with or without acceleration of view.

HI everyone, I've been working the 2 past days trying to make a paint scheme for myself. Never found the way to paint these 2 parts (see in picture). Is there a way to do it ? I've noticed that every plane I've seen so far have those 2 spots, it's worse in my case since that bottom part is white. Thanks

Hi all, Can somoene tell me why with a skin over the plane, when I try to have a look from let's say about 5-6 mouse scroll, skins return to under layer, I don't see my paint kit when the plane is smaller. I've saved the PSD with Nvidia texture tool in DDS format BC7 with 12 mip map levels. Thanks

HI, I've been playing now for the past 2 months or so. I've been searching for a while now on the forums to find how to get the Keybind to work for the heading/course on the HSD so I can in a few days bind it to the coming Virpil panel ordered and leave the mouse. I've found this script in one of the forums (see attach picture) but cant figure out where to put it in the keyboard input Lua code,at the end ? under specific topic? I would appreciate if someone could give me a hint on where to throw the code. Thanks

Hi Mr_sukebe, I just received my invoice from Virpil so I should get my order in the next two weeks or so. I ordered a 200 mm extension with a T-50CM2 base and F14 grip. I'm also looking to get the TM F18,Can you tell me if the Grip TM F18 fit directly over the extension or you have to remove the screws like I saw in a few posts over the Internet? Thanks

Hi N22YF, Thank You that was exactly my problem. I taught that the nav mode was active because the HUD showed Nav 0 and so on, but it wasn't. Another fin mission to do, next one now.

Newbie needs help in mission 9. I've tried many different way turn left at waypoint 1, turn right, but when I get to it nav doesn't change to waypoint 2. Even if I try to change it manually it doesn't go. I know i can still follow with the map (F10) and get there anyway, but just want to make sure I don't miss anything.

Thanks for the hard work on this, I'm new to DCS (long time FS2001 fan) rediscovered flight sim a few weeks ago. this week end an I have read the whole F-15 manual making a resume of it for myself. You're training was for me the fun part after a long reading. I've went over the first 6 training and couldn't stop (really well made). I would appreciate if you could point to me where I could find information about setting flags ( in relation ) to adding helper gates. Thanks again for doing this for new user like me.

Hi all, I'm Rejean from Montreal. I'm 55 and just discovered DCS a few weeks ago, always been interested by aircrafts and got introduced to the world of sims in early 2000 with Microsoft flight simulator. Keep on bothering peoples at the flight school in the neighborhood to sell me maps and books to learn VOR and NDB's Sids and Stars. I've always been a big enthusiast in any project I decide to go for. I then quit flight sim for a long time, before discovering DCS and I guess that the fact that controllers wheren't where it is today was a huge point of decision at that time. Bla, bla bla Right Now I'm impressed with the evolution over the past years, so i'm back in, and can't wait till Virpil V.F.K and CM3 throttle arrives...by that time I'll keep on adding commands to voiceattack and start adjusting the TrackIP pro 5 when it arrives sometimes today. Ahhhh see how I get enthusiast lol. Have fun in DCS ! Hope to see you soon as I get better and can fly with others... Rejean
