  1. True, the extra green (scas) indicator they added in the last update is very welcome to understand better what the heli is doing, I also noticed while in cruise it almost becomes an aircraft and it's very easy to fly.
  2. This is an interesting point as I myself am making the same assumption: I thought the Apache was the most agile and powerful related to weight compared to mi8 and Hind and my confidence on this last 2 helis was because of their bigger inertia giving me more time to make inputs to correct some mistake before the previous input took effect. I'll try to think about your tip next time I'll fly it, thanks. I noticed that and I find out the Apache is the only helicopter I set a curvature of 25 to give me a little more of accuracy while giving input
  3. I started flying helos with the Mi-8, then Ka-50 and after the initial struggle dealing with VRS I really enjoyed (and still enjoy) flying them: for me it's a lot of fun just taking them out, pick a spot on a building and landing there. I just can't do the same with the AH-64, I feel it's so more sensitive to inputs to other helis and I'm really struggling getting used to. So I tried the Huey, the Gazelle and the Hind and I was just able to do everything I wanted to do with them; this brought a question to me: is the Apache really meant to be that difficult compared to others helis? Is it normal it doesn't have some sort of flight assistance like the Hind and Hipper?
  4. Since my issue is related to this mission I don't create a new thread but continuing this one: It's my first night mission in the Mi-8 and I'm struggling to see outside the chopper. As you see in the left part of the image where the blister is open, there is no problem. In the right half where I'm supposed to watch through the canopy glass, it's just white even if I turned off every external and internal light and when I put on night goggles it's just impossible to look where I'm going even with minimum gain setting. Is there any workaround I'm missing?
  5. Hi everyone, Today I executed DCS openbeta as usual and several popups appeared reporting " [ModuleX] not authorized to be used with your account". I noticed the modules giving this error are the ones I bought when I had the game on steam (I'm on standalone now since mid 2020 I believe). I tried to retrieve the code on steam but I've been unsuccessful. Does anyone know how to fix this? Hoping to be in the right forum section and thanks in advance!
  6. Hi everyone; Is there a way to play Dcs (I'm on 2.7 open beta) without having internet connection? I'm having a major issue with my home internet network and I'm not able to acces the internet with the Pc I use to play Dcs with. Thanks in advance.
  7. Did 2 flights yesterday on MP and didn't have the issue, landed 1 time to refuel and rearm in each flight leaving rwr and countermeasures switch on; everything smooth.
  8. Thanks for your reply; I'm pretty sure I did and if I didn't is because I left the rwr on when I landed and take off the 2nd time. Maybe I had to shut it off? I'll do another flight now testing the issue again, I'll update with what I'll find out.
  9. Hi everyone. As title says I have no problem using countermeasures after the first take off. The problem arises when I land, rearm and refuel. After taking off again I make sure Master Arm is on, Countermeasures switch in on bypass and so on, just like I'm used to do. I don't know if it's a bug or I'm missing something in the rearming procedure, I didn't find anything on the manual, thanks in advance for helping me sorting this out Oh, if it can be useful, I was on a multiplayer server. Edit: Came up to my mind also that the annunciator threat lights was not working at the same time.
