  1. Revetment here an there should to the trick... Given the number of objects already placed by Ugra, I should be able to make these templates mod free. Very early build of Fulda Army Airfield.
  2. Finally bought the Cold War Germany map. Since it's Ugra Media, the air bases are fairly populated with some equipment and vehicles but they could use some polishing. Question is: where to start? Given the number of air bases that are available already I need some "Top 5" of the most used air bases that could benefit from some additional assets here and there...

  4. I need two more weeks I'm almost done with Falkland Islands - Port Stanley, Mount Pleasant and FOB San Carlos are populated. Now finishing Goose Green which was overrun by Russian/Soviet expeditionary force. The same thing will happen to Gull Point and then I will be good to go.

  9. Long time ago I've created static templates for most of the South Atlantic airports, airfields and air bases. Since in the meantime Massun's pack got incorporated to the DCS Core and some of the mods got discontinued I plan to redo them and this time share with the public. Given the available assets the "scenario" was Argentina teaming up with Russian expeditionary force standing against UK/NATO & Chilean forces and most likely I will keep it like that. Mods that will most likely be used are as follows: SAM Sites Asset Pack Civil Aircraft Mod VPC Airfield Equipment TTTwJ Jets Airport Services Vehicles Eight Ball AI Seaking Military Asset Packs by Currenthill 476th Range Targets Package CAP Vehicles CLP Mods Military Aircraft Mod ? Let me know if you have any thoughts or ideas. Anyway... templates are coming.

  12. The templates would be pretty empty without VPC mod, especially the ones for the Russian/Soviet Air Bases. If you don't have VPC the .miz file with the respective templates should work as they will simply not load VPC objects.

  16. Good to hear you like it Eduardo. The idea is to "overkill" a bit as it should be easier and more convenient for each user to scale down and remove some assets rather than force users to add them. I see a lot of familiar looking mods on your list that I try to avoid using as some of them are outdated/not available anymore or it wouldn't make sense to force people to add one more mod just to have this nice looking van parked by the hangar Now, back to work

  19. Thanks Chicki! I've just updated Bas-100 to account for the changes to the mesh and textures in the most recent update. Name was changed to Vuojarvi. Now working on the templates for the new airports.
  20. This is exactly what I did and it I managed to bring back some of the assets manually changing the stm files. Still, it seems that it will be much faster to add the missing items from ME level.
  21. Just checked my old static templates from South Atlantic where I used v2.3 assets and they are not loading on my end as well when I open .miz files.   22. Updated first post with link to Banak static template. Also, made some updates do Kemi Tornio - reduced number of required mods without loosing too much of a "fun factor", added some life to the east side of the airfield with the unused runway and added working TACAN. I was looking at Kiruna Airport but I will most probably wait till Orbx will work on it - currently there are too many buildings out in the middle of nowhere for my taste.
  23. Thanks @Dallenbach - I'm glad you like them! By the way - I have a general question about the mods/assets that I'm using in my templates, the mods you are using or you are willing to use in the future. So far the numer of asset packs/assets required to get the full experience from my static template varies between 3 (Olenya, Monchegorsk) and 11 (Kemi Tornio). Some of them are a must from my perspective (VPC, SAM Sites Asset Pack, Massun's Assett Pack, CAM, MAM, Currenthill's Asset packs), there are the ones that are more "nice to have" (476th Range Targets Package, Seaking, Airport Service Vehicle, TTTwJ ERJ/DC-9/MD-83, CAP – Vehicles, CLP mods) and finally there are some that I have, I like to use but I'm not sure they are popular enough to include them in my templates (A-4E, SK60, U-2 Dragon Lady, OH-6A with the VAP asset pack, UH-60L, Bell-206, C17 Globemaster, NATO Ground Forces, SMAO, UAZ-452) and I wouldn't like to exclude some significant group of players from using my templates. I would appreciate if you could let me know how do you feel about my mod selection and your thoughts about use of the mods from the second and third group. Right now I work on getting Kemi Tornio a little bit less demanding by removing TTTwJ ERJ and CAP - Vehicles. Also planning to look at some revision to Bas-100 although it may be difficult for me to stop using Currenthill MRAP's and get back to HMMWV.
