You have a choice of fuses up to 11 seconds, set in the Mission Editor/Payload screen.
Click on the orange triangle next to the bomb to get a choice of nose or tail options.
..
Indeed. I use the 5 second fuse all th3 time. It let's you drop from just 100-200 meters. And it's enough for the bomb to arm.

800th subscriber special.
A mission very loosely based on the movie Warfare. That I watched yesterday.

Thanks for the reply, but I will wait until some tutorials can teach me how to use the radio.
The radio is just a switch with 4 frequencies. Works like the 4 buttons in the other allied warbirds. Isn't much of a tutorial. The switch Reflected show in his video is the correct one.
If you can't reach ATC on any of the 4 presets. Then they aren't set up correctly in the mission. And it's set up in the mission editor exactly like all the other warbirds.
-
If you made your own mission. Make sure that the radio presets are correct.
I have my flight on radio 1 and carrier on radio 2.(I think historically it's home base on 1) but make sure the frequencies match. The Essex ATC is odd. There is a female voice. Waiting doubt would be a thing in WW2.
It also seem go give wrong directions. Several degrees off. Maybe it's to place me behind the carrier at a certain distance. But the directions are off by enough degrees. You'd be hard pressed finding the carrier by following those directions.

Well, you are wrong - the community/fan made a-4e skyhawk module has good vr support - you can grab the stick and the throttle with your VR controllers and they both work perfectly fine.
This is also a weird reply - early access or not, if it is completely unplayable a refund is a reasonable move.
A4 isn't a 3rd party though, it's a free mod.

Can you send the track? Perhaps you are doing a coldstart and forgot to do the Jester Wheel again while the track replays (leading to you flying around with a cold machine, engines off).
It was an air start nam dogfight-20250802-113941.trk It requires the ww2 marianas map

I needed a break from my editing heavy Saipan campaign. So did a short 3 vs 4 Dogfight. Man, I'm rusty in the F-4. And it's been weeks since I’ve flown any jet in DCS.
I somehow got a double kill with Sparrows, I fired one sparrow it didn’t seem to track, so I moved my sight over another MiG and fired another sparrow point blank. And hit it, but apparently my first sparrow continued to track and hit my first target too. Didn’t think that was possible. Using the Sparrow E2 “dogfight sparrow”

Can you check in the mission editor the "Reference Aircraft" checkbox and see if it still shakes then?
Finally got around to checking (been to busy with the other F4.
But using that does not help at all. Aircraft shake violently during tracks.

Asked for a refund…lol. It’s an early access module, still in development. Try asking for these things in the wish list section and you may get more traction. These aren’t bugs.
Highly doubt it will happen. Even Heatblur which is a giant 3rd party developer studio. Far larger then any of the others (now that raz is gone) doesn't have vr kontroller support.

As far as I know, none of the 3rd party developers have suppor for VR controllers. Only the ED made ones have.

Part 6 is up, first part of the assault on Aslito airfield (that never really happened as it was very lightly defended)
Lt. Gunfreak is ranking up kills. He became an ace after shooting down 3 defenseless cargo planes on top of the two Betty-88s from before
He's sunk 2 ships. And with this mission adds dozen upon dozens of infantry to his tally. As well as more artillery, more trucks, and more tanks.
My wingman was even useful. Blowing up a AAA just as it had me zeroed.

Try full dirty, 80kn, left turn and apply throttle anything other than smoothly - you'll definitely see an aggressive snap roll. Easy to avoid if you're conscious of it, but I've replicated all the spin into the drink footage by accident
Did that relatedly in the Corsair when it was new.
I'd try to land but at 70 or 80 knots but with full flaps down, i basically just hovered over the carrier, almost standing still over the carrier as it was steaming forward at 30 knots.
I'd slam the throttle and RPM forward. No problem at all.
According to sources i should have died 4 times there.
This was before the FM fix.

Didn't see this reported but being fixed in the latest hotfix.

So sniper pod still can't put bombs on moving targets?

I haven't used the map in a long time, thought I give it another try, still incredibly hard to find any place on the map that doesn't look terrible. Houses half dug into hills, terrible low quality texture with some higher texture slaped on top of it. Almost all mountains are low quality textures.
I spent 10 minutes placing ground units all over the map, but finally gave up and just placed the ground units on the green parts a few km from the Helmand river, this still seems to be the only place with a few km2 of real estate on the map that doesn't get ruined by low textures and bad odd terrain artifacts, but the river itself is still bad.

I hadn't seen your post earlier, but here is my comment anyway:
I live in Chile and so I can see first hand that we have not yet attained a first world status, our corrupt government couldn't care less about the living conditions of the majority of its citizens. Just a sample, there are plenty more:
... yet I understand that we need to spend a lot on Defense, or else the corrupt governments of our neighbors could be tempted into conquering our terrtitory.
This is very real world modern poltics. But many countries have these kinda places, without being classed as 3rd world. Including the USA, as a mobile doctor who travel to many places in the US to give free medical treatment to poor neighbourhoods. And he states that these places would absolutely be classed as 3rd world if they weren't part of the US. I think you'll find many places in many countries that could be classed as 3rd world even if the country isn't. I think all countries outside of western Europe, Japan, and an New Zealand will have some places like these.
There are obviously too much spending on military in many countries. And sadly this is now also happening in countries that used not spend so much on it.

I'ts different for me. I'm on AB9 and while on the ground the stick is limp, in the air the resistance changes with speed and maneuvers, and I'm flying corsair without telemetry because I found the built in ffb good.
Yes the stick is limp on the ground and siffens as you gain speed(this is in alø dcs warbirds) but there is next to no change in stiffness based on speed above basic flying speed. 120 or 400 knots feel the same.

Did you hold the stick all the way back in both cases?
I think so you'll have to check.
4 hours ago, GTFreeFlyer said:How about wind over deck? Are you starting on a carrier each time? Switching back and forth from airfield to carrier? Is the carrier always facing the same angle into the same wind speed? I haven’t noticed anything like this yet, but it is an early access module and anything is possible.
Always carrier, Always heading north at 30 knots.
-
This is something I've noticed since the release of the module.
When I'm on the carrier.
I hold the breaks and throttle up to max MP and RPM.
Sometimes this causes the aircraft to lean forward and i have to let go of the brakes before the prop hits the deck. This is how it should be. No warbird in DCS can hold still with max power.
However in the Corsair. About half the time. I can go max power. And can hold the breaks indefinitely. The nose does not dip forever. It doesn't seem to be a bug related to power as the aircraft takes off fine wether it's can or can't hold the breaks. So it might be some bug related to the carrier. Mabye the back wheel sticks or something.
But I'm quite sure it's not supposed to happen like that.
-
This is a DCS problem not just the Corsair.
-
Part 5 of the Saipan series is out, I've missed a lot of stuff on the ground, we've hit a few things on the ground. We've shot down some bombers, almost lost our carrier.
As Marines clear out the jungle, in preparation for the assault on Aslito Airfield the next morning. The Corsairs take off for a late evening ship hunt. Japanese cargo and troop ships are coming up from Guam to reinforce and resupply Saipan.

Spectator view: Night vision option
in DCS Core Wish List
Posted
Been asked repeatedly. By myself and others.
They are probably using editing tricks.
I can do the same myself. However the methods I've found. Makes the vidoes very dark. So actually using it on dark vidoes doesn't work very well. I need to fly on full moon nights with no clouds to get it light enough to see anything with my night vision video effects
