Thanks guys.. it was worrisome when they marked my post in bugs as "correct as is".. hind 24p model is only one that does this so I hope they fix it soon as it kills emersion when you get a little too far away from wingman to look and see a flying log. lol

No one else with this issue?

I absolutely agree.. That would be a great solution. Only wish it could be done on our end. The black dot is killing me. LOL OCD

Is this normal when looking at other Hind mi-24p models at distance? seems the 24p is only aircraft that turns to this big black rectangle at such a close range?

Ok, just wanted to make sure it wasn't my install.. but originally this was marked as "correct as is" ?? And it also isn't in current known issues that I saw.

first shot is ka50 and Hip second shot is 4 hinds at half the distance. And yes I know weather is different but same test sunny day same result. Third image is the mi24v ai model it does not suffer from the big black box rectangle either. Third shot is from same mission as the 2nd shot. Same angle and distance, I just replace the P model with the V model.

There is something off about the helos and level of detail distance.. Jets do not have the large black dot as the helos do at such a close range. Seem to me helos change to the black dot way too close to the user. or either its just the hind.. going to test the hip see how quickly it changes to the black dot.

ok, is there any way to bring it back the way it used to be? I would much rather it fade to nothing than that large black pixel. or push the lod further out? on this monitor I am on it looks way too close.

Not sure if this is a bug or something messed up on my sim.. Please let me know.. noticed this before in Low level hell server.. and also in some missions. Is this normal?
