  1. Not on Caucasus but here it is spitmeexplode.trk
  2. It's me moving the camera with the mouse. I use a HOTAS.
  3. Seems like I was putting insane amounts of rounds into aircraft and would never see any explosions then bang! This guy explodes right in front of me from some .50 cal rounds
  4. https://youtube.com/shorts/BGRd0n2D3Lo?feature=share I was flying in the cockpit of the Mirage 2000 with headphones, I just thought i was going crazy I could hear some Russian sounding choir type singing, I thought it must just be some weird sound frequencies messing with my ears, then i looked at external cam and, well the video explains. What is this ED???
  5. As a pretty much exclusively single player user of DCS, i very much enjoy the single player mission content for all the maps, so can I ask is there any mission content for this map yet?
  6. OK thanks for replies, think i'll keep this one on the maybe list till something drops
  7. As title, are there a lot of single player missions for the various modules? Any kind of list? Thanks
  8. I think DCS has a complex learning process but the game itself can become fairly intuitive. The handling models of all the aircraft seem realistic enough and are fun to work out. The most impressive thing about DCS for me being tilted towards the more casual approach is the visual experience; the cockpits, the liveries, the clouds and scenery - they really work to make the game mechanics seem immersive. I have to say to the OP: wanting real G forces in a video game would be a heath no-no for most gamers and in a sense physical forces are represented in the game through blackouts/redouts.
  9. Yes I have tried different loadouts
  10. Thanks for replies, some points there confirm what I suspected and some good advice also. Thanks again They are tough missions! I had some success targeting the lead plane and holding lock till the enemy goes defensive and stops guiding his missiles, though of course this doesn't always work. F18 seems to struggle at range but is fairly solid close up, though not amazing. Thanks, after a few hours practise yesterday, this seems very relevant advice
  11. I have been finding these missions incredibly difficult, I have tried different approaches but often seem to get splashed by the first R27 a mig fires while a barrage of AIM 7's my flight fires go harmlessly by. I have had a few wins but mainly when i am lucky enough to survive to the merge. Does anyone think it is because the R27 has greater range than the AIM7? EDIT I didn't know about the dot indicator for holding a radar lock, that is very useful in holding a lock, I am getting somewhere now! I have learned: Follow the dot indicator totally, Loft is essential past 10 miles, in a 4v4 fight, always go for the lead aircraft. I feel like i am mastering this though any advice would be appreciated
  12. Hi, I have found that the 'enfield' flight on this mission always crash into each other while taxiing, which kind of spoils this mission a bit! Hope it gets fixed
