  1. But... A doubt, I have see this profile, but one time do you program.... Its not necessary the use of Target.? Suppose
  2. Later try
  3. i can see the images...
  4. Hi, I'm giving TARJET another chance, but I'm having problems, I'll explain them ... A warning before, YOU DID NOT CONNECT THE HOTAS through HUB, I did it and had many problems, I have tried to connect it directly, and I only have few problems. And ... What problems do I have? Basically it is that when I use TARJET, windows DOES NOT detect a large part of the buttons, which then I cannot map in DCS, I attach the list and some images. When i NO use TARJET A - Windows detecta "Configure Game Controller", 2 devices (image 01) A.1.- Throttle - Hotas Warthog A.2.- Joystick - Hotas Warthog B - If you examine (Throttle - Hotas Warthog) in Windows/Configure Game Controller, can see that have: B.1.- 5 Axis B.2.- 40 Buttons B.3.- 1 P.O.V C - If you examine (Joystick - Hotas Warthog) in Windows/Configure Game Controller, can see that have: C.1.- 2 Axis C.2.- 19 Buttons C.3.- 1 P.O.V. ************** D - Theory, when you use TARJET and create the "virtual" device. The axes, buttons and POVs, should be the sum of the two (Throttle and Joystick) separately, it would have to be: D.1.- 7 Axis D.2.- 59 Buttons D.3.- 1 P.O.V. -No? ************ When i USE TARJET E - Reality. When you use TARJET, and create the virtual device, create it with less buttons E.1.- 8 Axis (1 More) E.2.- 40 Buttons (19 less) E.3.- 1 P.O.V (1 less) Why? Some ideas? Note: As you can see in screenshots, virtual device appers as (root)
  5. Mmm.... I think I have found part of the problem with TARJET by chance. The problems have been solved, or so I think, by directly connecting the Hotas, to the USB connectors on the motherboard. Until now I had them connected through a USB HUB
  6. Hi, I would like to use one of the 2-position switches, to raise and lower the landing gear. But I do not know how to do it. The first thing to comment that I am using GREMLIN. With the TARJET software it could be done, in fact, I had it configured like this. I want to use one of the 2-position switches, to lower the landing gear, specifically the lower left, LABELED (EAC / ARM / OFF). Both GREMLIN and Windows Administrator only detect keystrokes when the Swiches is in EAC position. Is there a way to be able to use the two positions of the Switch, using GREMLIN: + Switch ON (ARM / EAC) - LCntrl + G (Landing gear up) + Switch OFF (ARM / OFF) - LShift + G (Landing gear down)
  7. another related question ... The speed shown by the F18 instruments depends on the flight height. If I'm not mistaken, the F18 measures the speed, passing air through some ducts ... When it flies higher, the air is less dense, moving that meter less, resulting in that the speed that the instruments "read" is less than the one that would be at the level of evil. Is that so? Is there a way to translate the speed in height, to speed at (real) sea level?
  8. In the F18, there is an "optimal throttle position". And how optimal would be the position that allows you to go further in the shortest possible time. That optimal position changes with height? Or always the higher the better, the less resistance

    Some dudes

Hi, I have been assailed by two doubts and I would like to know the opinion of the community, and they are: - With the current level of realism that the simulators are reaching, specifically modules like this. Would an expert virtual pilot be able to fly a real plane? To what extent? (takeoff, navigation, landing, use of weapons) and second question, with a constantly evolving technological level, is it necessary to risk humans in the execution of missions? When drones can do the work
  10. Think I have find the way... JOYSTICK GREMLIN RULEZZZZ...!!!
  11. Hi, after quite a few problems with the Hotas Cougar software, TARGET. I am making a profile for another software, GREMLIN. My idea is NOT to touch the default DCS keyboard assignment. Make me a "PROFILE" in GREMLIN, where I assign those keys "by default" to HOTAS. Up to that point, the idea, all good, but the reality is a little bit of a bitch ..., I am doing the profile of the Stick, and I have reached TRIM, the problem that I find is this: The default assignments are in Spanish (ES) keyboard: COMPENSATOR SWITCH - Push (ascend) -> Assigned by default to -> RCtrl +; COMPENSATOR SWITCH - Right Plane Down -> Default Assigned To -> RCtrl + / COMPENSATOR SWITCH - Left plane down -> Default assigned to -> RCtrl +, COMPENSATOR SWITCH - Pull (ascend) -> Assigned by default to -> RCtrl +. And I have the problem at this point, since on the keyboard with ES layout, the (,) and (;) keys are the same, so I can't assign the same key 2 times ... I've thought of changing the keyboard mapping Left Plane Down (RCtrl +,) or Nudge (Ascend) (RCtrl +;), to another key, but: + This breaks my initial idea of NOT touching the original key mapping a bit (I don't want to touch them in case I reinstall it to make it easy to go back to the keys) + The keyboard is very full of assignments, some will be free, but I don't see it. Any ideas... I think the easiest thing to do is change the key assignment of one of the conflicting controls.
  13. Hi, I find it hard to understand how this great piece of hardware can have such bad software (T. A. R. G. E. T). To me personally I only work as it should one in ten times of odd days. And it's not that what this evil does, is that when it feels like it, it doesn't. When a thing doesn't work...Another one doesn't work. In the end I chose not to use it, assign the keys directly in Dcs. Can anyone recommend me some alternative? (I've seen that there are several)
  14. Great... But one advise.... Think remember Fw190 its not a Ww1 plane... Had closed cabin...
  15. De momento, he pedido el trackir.... Pero desde aquí, y desde el respeto... Os puedo decir que sois unos ca....es. Esto no se me hace.... Gracias
  16. I love YouTube Define touch screen
  17. Hi, I have a problem, I think it is more of a windows issue than DCS ... I explain ... I have purchased a 10-inch touch panel, to show avionics and to be able to handle it easily, the problem I have is that: - In windows 10, if I add it as a secondary monitor (Extended), when I use the monitor (Secondary) TOUCH functions, the touches are detected on the main screen (they are clearly seen on the desktop. So I can't handle the controls, what to put on that secondary touch monitor So I have tried to configure it as the main monitor (the touch), but ... - In windows 10, if I configure it as the main monitor, I touch them, IF it detects them on the touch monitor, but ... when it runs DCS it runs it on the 10-inch monitor, which is believed to be the main one ... What am I doing wrong?
  18. Hi, How i can search in DOWNLOAD of the web by name? I can apply a bunch of filters, but i dont know how search by name. Maybe here? i have tried, but dont use the filters. The case, i want search "Mission for F18 to AAR".
  19. Hi, can you point me where this is explained... think this can help me. The secon monitor arrives me, and i have conected to PC, they have 3 connectors, that think it must be plugged (1 hdmi (For video signal), 1 Usb (For tactile and power) and 1 Usb (For power)) i think how its a little big, the needs more power (2xusb). I have managed to connect, and with mosaic put 2 test dials in this screen. But....i no have clear what i have to do...
  20. Thank you, I write it down, but for now I'm sticking with the RS Mapper mapping software, it's flexible and transparent enough for the mappings I want to do. Pulsations when you stop pressing a button ...
  21. I am trying to configure the Hotas Warthog (Joystick and Throttle) in DCS. Until now, I DIDN'T USE TARGET, but to get more complex functions I need to use it. How do I proceed: 1- I run the TARGET Software, and create a profile where both the Joystick and the Throttle are included. 2- In that profile I configure it to my liking: first the sensitivity of the axes and dead zones, and then the assignment of axes and keystrokes to each button of the Hotas 3- In the TARGET Software, RUN CONFIGURATION. After a while, in which I suppose that I loaded the profile on both devices, a screen appears where I can test it ... I test it and everything goes as I wanted. 4- I open DCS, and in the configuration, a new virtual device appears, which corresponds to the Joystick and the Throttle. It is on this screen where I finish configuring the Hotas, especially axis assignment. 5- Everything works as configured ... From here the problems: 6- When I restart the PC, or close the Target program (in the background) and then reopen it ... 7- In DCS all the assignments have gone, I think because when restarting the TARGET software, it assigns another ID to this combination, and when I run DCS, it does not recognize it as the previous one It's quite frustrating spending considerable time setting up the controls ... for nothing. I suppose there is another way to do it. How can you configure the Joystick and Throttle with Target? (And that the configuration remains) Thanks
  22. NO..... something its wrong!!!!!!!!!! every time the TARGET software stops, which is sure every time you stop the PC, and reload it. It seems that DCS assigns a "virtual" device (Joystick and Throttle) but WITH A DIFFERENT ID. In this way, all key mapping is lost ... What am I doing wrong? What is the best way to assign the Hotas Warthog?
  23. Hi, I'm not really sure yet ... Until now, I did not assign the actions to the command using the T.A.R.G.E.T. software, but I have started using it. It seems that by creating a "profile" in the TARGET software, you link both the Joystick and the Throttle into a new "virtual" device, which is added to the DCS device column. By doing so, you can assign the Throttle's "Mouse" axes to the TDC.
  24. yes, in teory my graphic card can manage 2 monitors
  25. Thx, at the end, i have ordered these.... 8" Touch Screen let's hope it helps me
