Hi, i am redoing my controller profile, but i have a dude. I am usign Hotas Warthog, and i d'like to assig, 2 axis of throttle (in manual called SLEW CONTROL+PUSH) , identified in DCS as Joy_X and Joy_X to But in DCS Options-->Controls, when i try to asign those axis to this control, the box apear darker, and cant select and it does not let me select any axis, neither the throttle nor the control ... it is only in a light color, the mouse column, which IF I can assign ... But I don't want that. I have seen several videos on Youtube, and in all of them they can assign those axes to the TDC controller (Target Designator Controller), in the videos I have seen, it is not in clearer, it allows the assignment of those axes (Those of the Throttle mouse from Hotas Warthog) to TDC. Does anyone have any idea why it may be?

Brand / Model? Almost all the ones I see are 7", from there go to 10

Hi, There is some way to set a predefined configuration of the cabin, where things like the volume of the radios or alarms, which is displayed on each MFD... And that this predefined configuration depended on the mode that the plane is configured (air air, air ground navigation) Thx

What screen size its recommened for mfd's and Icp? I think that 7" was enough

Me estáis haciendo dudar....

No?

You are The Dark Side....

Hi, When I do a mission... What is the "general" condition for it to be fulfilled? -A To meet the assigned objectives. -B go back to your territory/go through all the WP. -C Return and land at the mission-designated base. -D Return to base, land and park in a certain position. -E Conditions of D and shutting down the plane

Hi, I am newbie in Dcs... And I have a dude. I have start a basic F18 campaign, Campaña Ebro 2.1, after some tries o have completed 1 mission... And now the dudes: If I fly the second mission and I don't finish it. -Do I have to restart the campaign? I just have to redo that mission? - Is there any way to save progress

First thank you all for your help, and comment that it seems that I opt more for using Track Ir (The Chinese Copy) and a touch screen of about 7". I've seen that with a software called Helios, it's very configurable. I'll try this. VR glasses, attract me, but I see some doubtful points. Thank you for your help and advice

Another option... Can use and Android tablet?

Seems very powerfull.... i think i have too much to read/study.... First, find a suitable screen... Something like this can be used? Suposse... SMALL TACTIL SCREEN

Impressive setup... Looks gorgeous. Thanks

Hi, This discourages me a bit ... the videos I had seen had piqued my interest ... but the issue of pressing the buttons with a mouse, which is difficult to see (because you are wearing your glasses) .... At this moment, it seems that I prefer more, for a TrackIr (or similar) and one or two touch screens, which show part of the cockpit Thanks to all

Only play in solo mode...

Hi, I have a question, if an idea that I have in mind can be done, well I suppose it can be done, the question would rather be: - How can it be done? - What do I need (hardware / software)? The problem When you are flying in one of the DCS planes, you have to do a lot of pressing of the cockpit keys, to configure the plane, weapons, navigation ... and that with the keyboard is complicated there are dozens, if not hundreds of key combinations , and with the mouse it is very slow, especially in combat situations. Ideas I had been thinking about virtual reality glasses, but the problem of pressing the cockpit buttons makes me quite backward, it is still necessary to do it with keyboard and mouse. So right now, if it doesn't change, I seem to be opting for: - A TRACK IR device (or similar) - One or two small (touch) screens, I have seen them on Amazon 7 "/ 10", showing cockpit instruments. and I have several questions: 1st - Is this possible? A touch screen, connected to the graphics card, can display an aircraft instrument 2nd - Would that secondary screen be better to connect through the video output of the graphics card or through USB? 3rd - If that instrument has changes, for example a moving map, it would be rendered on the secondary screen. Not? 4th - What is shown on that screen. Does it always have to be the same? Or can I change it? (so you can display multiple instruments on one screen) 5th - Where can I see a guide / tutorial to do this? As I said, I DO NOT want to make a booth, the only thing I want is to be able to see part of the booth on that or those secondary screens. Does anyone use a similar combination that can advise me?

Hi, I was user of Track Ir device, but seems its dead... And now I wonder if I can buy a new track ir... Or make the leap to VR. But I have some doubts, the most important is the control of the avionica of the plane, with the trackir used a lot of the mouse to press different controls of the cabin, something that I find very difficult if you are wearing the vr glasses, since it makes it difficult and a lot to use the mouse .... Unless you can virtually press the cockpit buttons... But that seems dicicil to me, how do you control the plane (cockpit button presses) with the VR glasses?

Another rookie question ... In the Hud I see this +1, which changes, from positive to negative, and I don't really know what it means ... I've looked for something in the manual, but I haven't found anything. Thanks

Wish for new active-pause variant (players avionics only)
peirof replied to sirrah's topic in DCS Core Wish List

Hi, I am interested in using a tablet that I have for you to control DCS ... I've been looking at this forum, and the problem is not that there is no way ... it is that there are many. The idea that I have is an app that works on the tablet, or phone, the ideal would be that it was NOT just a button push, that would act as a second touch screen, but that could show various areas of the cabin, MFD's, UFCs. .. Is there something like that?

Hi, In Dcs there are two pauses: - the NORMAL PAUSE, which if you press it stops everything, and you can't handle the controls of the plane, and - The ACTIVE PAUSE, in which if you can make adjustments in the avionica... But yesterday I realized that the units are still moving (I guess with missiles and bombs, it will be the same) Until now, I used the active pause, I'm a newbie, and I have a hard time finding which buttons I should press or procedure I should follow... But this discovery makes active PAUSE incontable. Is there a third pause (I guess not) that stops everything but you can continue to use the plane's avionica? As you do... For example when you approach a target and you have to look for it on the radar, and fix it ... And with a mouse, you don't have the ability to press the MFD button
