  1. The point you aren’t getting is the missile still got to him despite the dead track. However it should have activated on him. This was a large missile so it should have started searching at around 18-22 seconds. This ain’t exclusive to the c model. The c model should do this by itself. The a model can also do this but requires the launching aircraft to remain hot for guidance commands and the activation command. I think they might have overcorrected a previous issue where the missile would go active on you behind a hill.
  2. Its now harder to get a lock in boresight now. Especially in a close dogfight because it seems that the radar doesn't slave to the hmd when tms up is held so whenever its released it must take a second or two to slew over and that misses the target. It also continues to scan in that area off boresight despite having the boresight cross in the hud. Track files show the behavior where you cannot get a lock while rolling (or a moving target) and tracking the target because of the delay.   3. Motion blur in this game is applied center. To recreate you go into f2 and pan camera vertically while looking at the wings and the blur effect basically makes the wings look like they are moving forward and back rapidly. (Not talking about wing flex when pulling Gs) Focus on the sidewinders and tail on the two screenshots which was a fast up to down pan. The second one was done outside of dcs with mvtools. Considering the mvtools screenshot was done only with video and no access to motion vectors/depth buffer the internal motion blur could be alot better. First one is DCS, second is MVTools.
