Having weird pixelated clouds issues, this happened after the last update. I have tried clearing all data, slow repair, shutting off quad views, openxr tool kit, and updating all drivers and nothing seems to change. This is on a pimax crystal using a 13900k and 4090.
-
I am also noticing it with a crystal
-
I have this also after the update in VR and 2d.
-
How is it perfect for you? Do you see dots? I have the crystal, and I'm on 1, and I have absolutely no dots whatsoever. Like , spotting is turned off, no dots. Do I have a bug? Should I see something?
-
So, you want different dots for different parts of the plane? and different planes? I just want to be able to spot and as I have said these dots are pretty much non-existent in high Res VR. You can tell the difference in the dots you are seeing?. ON your screen you can tell the type of plane, the distance, the aspect, and what the pilot had for dinner. I just see a dot or rather I no longer see the dot. I either want your PC or what you are smoking.
-
Are you even serious right now? The dots are basically invisible to me now, I don't care if it's Santa Clause in his slay drinking a 12 pack of beer 10 miles, 15 miles or right before the dot is supposed to turn into a slay. I basically can not see them without a lock. With a lock, they are transparent and too small to be useful. Are you a programmer? Are you working on the dots?
-
Well, since the thread is about spotting dots I would assume I can not see the dots. Do you think I was talking about the pizza shop down the street? How much science do you want in not being able to see anything(the dots)?? I pretty much said it was perfect(the dots) before this last update. I really don't understand what more you need than that to figure out the dots are now too small or too transparent or whatever they changed was too much for high-resolution VR.

Spotting in VR is nonexistent. Impossible to play multiplayer. Only know when someone is there after you die.

I am using a pimax crystal. I have my settings on bitsum.

tacview is usually off, no motion reprojection. it happened right at the end it is so random but goes on for 20-30 seconds you can see in the video it is a very consistent equal wave

or am I not doing that correctly?

Yesterday I uninstalled my graphics drivers with DDU and reinstalled new, now I can not launch DCS or any other game not sure what is going on. The card shows up everywhere and says it is working but, DCS doesn't recognize it. dcs.log dcs.log-20240410-091004.zip

I think this is what you need. dcs.log DxDiag.txt mobettametas_Dogfight_Arena_-_Caucuses_-_v2.08.1-20240412-164600.trk

ok got ya, yea my page file I have tried changing to all different sizes. No help. This stutter just comes and goes whenever it wants. I have tried taking off my OC, changing saved games file, repairs, turning setting up/down/hotplug/appdata/....searched the forums and tried everything I could find on here. I did a windows repair, refresh..

What do you mean by swap file?

Any one experience this in VR? I'm using multithread, 13900k, 4090, windows 10 and a pimax Crystal. Everything will be running fine, frame rate well below what is required for 72hz then all of a sudden I will get a bout of nonstop stuttering and it will last for 20-30 seconds then go away for a while and repeat. I have tried slow repair, drivers , uninstalling and reinstalling all Pimax software, lowering settings, windows repair, checked for driver updates and so on. Nothing has changed it so far. It will even do it in menu or lobby. Here is a video example of what is going on, you can see it in the graph. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as it is driving me nuts....lol

Taz1004_UI_TextSize this is the culprit. Only crashes when it is active.

I was doing great until now, when I hit the ground it crashed this time. This is what I had for logs. How do you know what error to look at? dcs.log dcs.log.old no zip file

looks like I got lucky and slow repair fixed it now onto my micro stutters...lol thanks again

Noticing technicolor 3 is also causing micro stutters. Don't think it is causing my crashes but very noticeable when switching color grading off.
-
OK, I will start at the top...lol

I am still getting a crash, not as often so maybe it is another issue? dcs.logdcs.log-20240117-234511.zip
