Weirdly enough, the DCS repair fixed it. Thanks.

I just reinstalled the IC version (after the update) and now DCS keeps crashing on start. Removed the IC version and revert back to the original shaders, DCS load fine.

Was following the guide and couldn't get on to Hoggit server to test how the video settings will fare online. After a bit of digging turns out it's the shadow mod.
