  1. ya ya yep, and it does it without repro too, though turning it off slows down the drip. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a sudden spike in CPU usage that sets OXR into a state it can't recover from. just some background - I've sapped a 3080 and 3090 back and forth in same system with same results, so I don't think its entirely Vram capacity related. It's hard to say if one took longer to jitter than the other as the bugs timing is fairly erratic. However, setting DCS' "Texture" setting (not Terrain Texture) to medium or low does significantly delay the jitters compared to setting it high.
  2. Understood, but for me it doesn't happen with SVR in multiplayer, with GFX and render scale set high. Multiplayer, when using OpenComposite, even with all in game options low (but DCS VR set at 100) and OXR Dev Tool render scale turned down to 20, eventually the stutters will begin, and will generally remain regardless of how complex or barren the scenery. On my two systems it's behaving like a tap dripping into a bucket. Lowering the GFX settings slows down the drip, but ultimately it will full up, at which point the judders/jitters start. Other than this problem, it's fantastic
  3. Just curious how many of us posting here are testing this in multiplayer servers? If you are, and are having similar performance (good) to single player, would you mind sharing which servers you are using?
  4. It's just Open Composite I believe. I think it was initially written for and tested on Assetto Corsa Competizioniespaghetti racing game (and now the original Assetto Corsa), but it's now working on a lot of others (including DCS of course ).
  5. The OXRComposite-ACC mod and OpenXRToolKit Sorry if that was confusing. After chatting about it for endless hours on discord, it all slowly evolved into acronyms
  6. Great results here in single player mode with OXRCACC (with and without OXRTK) ...but multiplayer mode is hit and miss, with the fps dropping drastically after a few seconds to a couple of minutes into flight, and also with f10 map use in MP. Sometimes it picks up again, but once it drops its pretty much over till exiting the server where it will generally reset itself. Even the DCS menus become jittery/juddery once it happens till exiting server. I don't experience this with SVR (with MR on or off) in multiplayer. It seems to be linked to openxr somewhere.
  7. Try closing the WMRPortal before starting DCS (let DCS open it as game starts) and see if it works
  8. It's a remarkable improvement in FPS on my setup (5090 3080 32g @ 3600) and the biggest improvement I've seen from any mod/app in last couple of years. Very happy. It does have some odd reprojection side effects which are also present in MSFS, but I can live with that for now. I notice a little more input latency with OpenXR reprojection than OpenVR, and the angle of each eye's stereoscopic projection might be a little different as it doesn't feel quite as comfortable for me, but it's okay. A big thanks to those involved in the development
  9. Hi, When playing on various servers (A4H / Rotorheads etc) - since the introduction of the AH64 and possibly the recent small DCS update, I experience a 3 - 7 fps drop when an AH64 is in close range, or if we are sitting together on adjacent helipads. Other aircraft models appear to have little, if any affect on the FPS. I'm curious to know if anyone else is experiencing the same thing?
  10. Will do. Thanks for the reply Andre
  11. Hi Andre, Would you have any clues or tips for the above? Thank you.
  12. Terrific, thank you very much for the details razor! Cheers D
  13. Thank you Razo+r, I'm fairly new to the weapons and defenses. Can I ask what WP's are (or do you mean way point?) Would I launch both of these as countermeasures as one would with flares? Do they hang in the air or sit on the ground (how long would they stay illuminated?) Thank you.
  14. They seem to be a well built generation of amp for reliability. I have 4 of a similar Yamaha model from that era and they've been left turned on and running 24/7 for more than 10 years. All 4 are still going! I hope I haven't just jinxed them :O
  15. Hello, Has anyone successfully used Win 11 and the soundcard add-on module, with Asio4All? I'm attempting to use my onboard 5.1 sound chip (Realtek) which is working fine in 2ch mode with WDM drivers, but I'd like to run 4 or 6 shakers. I haven't been able to get the Sound addon to see the Asio drivers. My guess is it's a Win11 / Asio incompatibility issue. Any help appreciated. Thank you
  16. Hi, Can anyone tell me if it's possible to throw or drop a marker while flying? Is it possible for a gunner to toss one whilst flying multicrew? If not, is there any other way to place a marker other than using the theatre map? Thank you for the help
