Of course , if you SEND your file somewhere it will just create a new one, and running the repair will not add a new file. You need the repair to create a new file. Thats why you have to delete the file, which is not possible, so the only option you have is to "Ausschneiden"!! On my german system its the option on right clicking the file between: -SEND TO -................ -COPY Good luck. OUT

p.s DONT nuke DCS off your system as it wont solve your problem, belive me, i went through that process

by right clicking on a file...........whats the option between -SEND TO........and_ COPY. On my computer it says Ausschneiden, thats what i did, and inserted the file wherever. After that; you run the repair............ make sure you run the repair that you find under this path: C:ProgramData/Mirosoft/Windows/Start Menue/Programs/Eagle Dyinamics/DCS World OpenBeta-----------REPAIR DCS WORLD Open beta. Anyway cant say any more as this worked for me.

yeah true, for some reason you cant delete it(the ed_sound.dll file in the bin-mt folder).......try to (Ausschneiden) instead of deleting it. Not sure what (Auschneiden) is in english setup ....drag and drop? .....cutout maybe. I had the exact same problem.

Why was nobody pointing me to the (after uninstall and reinstall on steam during 11h, to get the same update jamming problem, after uninstall and changeing to the standalone version with another 6h of transfering minimal content, and trying to start the game in MT mode ) at least for me obvious fact, that the problem had to do with the multi-threading,which would have been a almost certain easy fix somehow. Now i am stuck to this standalone version, which is ok, but i would have preferd to stay on the steam version. Very disapointing client service from the ED Team.

Bei der Aktualisierung von DCS Steam Edition ist ein Fehler aufgetreten (Fehlende Dateirechte) C:Program Files(x86/Steam/steamapps/common/DCSWorld/bin-mt/ed_sound.dll (by updating there is a mistake (missing file right) this is the message if trying to start the game with my desktop shortcut. I have no idea what is going on.

Steam restart does not help.Computer restart does not help. Integrity gamefile positiv. Cant change to stable version or playing the game as the update is always enqueud up.I am getting worried.

update is on paused, clicking on continue will restart the download just for instantly jumping back to paused on my side.

I understand that in order to save a cockpit angle you press RAlt+0Numpad. It works on every aircraft so far, not in the AH-64D. It does save, but as soon i press my zoom in or out its snaps back to default. please help. thx in advance

After registration, creating a new topic, this Bugs and Problems/Clouds and Weater/Wishlist is the only option i have to choose from to open a new topic. I dont understand. Anyway i am gonna try my luck here. If setting up waypoints in the editor, ingame on my HMCS Hud of the A-10C 2, waypoint 1 is always = MSN000 instead of MSN001. What do i do wrong. Thx in advance.
