I understand all that Zaelu it is just a personal request, I like the air to air in the Hornet with Aussieboy's FM tweaks but I would like the F-15E with the new F-15C pit purely for fast in and fast out A-G with maybe only AIM-9M's for close quarter protection same as the Warthog, I love the Warthog to bits but the F-15E was built for fast low-level ingress to the target and fast low or high-level egress(like say the Tornado) so it really is my own personal taste.

AussieBoy, I was wondering do you think you might be able to do the same mod on the F-15E as you did with the F-18C as a standalone with some(or all preferably)A-A and A-G capabilities or maybe just all A-G modes, it is just a thought especially using the new Eagle pit. Cheers Rob.

I'm an idiot, thanks to you're update you gave me, I then realised I hadn't deleted the input config files in DCS Saved Games I did so and copied across my F-15C key and joystick configs and it all works fine now, full air-air avionics and TWS radar and weapon release all fine.Thanks for your speedy replies i'm off to shoot down some Flankers in my new Hornet thanks again to you. Sorry Aussieboy that didn't work either, I think it's because you are using a def file of say the SU-25(air to ground modes etc,etc,) I just want it to have A-A only the same as stock FC3 F-15C(i.e same HUD and key commands) is there a way to do this? In other words same A-A avionics and radar facilities as the FC3 F-15C. Thanks Rob.

Aussieboy, Installed your F-18C-zip and cockpit AI mod as instructed,in general it's brilliant especially with a working F-15C cockpit but I have a major problem, I cannot seem to fire any weapons except the 20mm, there is no key string for weapon release only weapon fire which only manages the 20 mike,mike, is there a work around for this as at least i'd like to let loose a few AMRAAM's. Well here goes and i'll try to be pleasant, I began (as suggested by Mustang) letting DCS generate a new saved games folder but alas no joy.Even when I go into instant action and state that I want to fly a P-51D I have ended up in an SU-25!!!!!! The main (silver) DCS exe shortcut will not run the program at all now so I think that's it for me, after god knows how many years (and even more pounds stirling!!) I am going to take it off my hard drive and either reinstall it or just not bother at all. Rob.

It seems I cannot access any of my saved missions in the editor at all, tried repair facility but no joy ,tried just a simple take-off in a Su-27 but it never lets me fly it just goes to mission end screen so far not made it into cockpit. Also I cannot run it at all from DCS.exe short cut it just wont load at all and as well when I go into a simple take off mission in my P-51D I am no longer the pilot it reverts to ai no matter what!!! I'm really disappointed with ED about this so I am rolling back to 1.2.4. once I figure out how? Thanks for your replies. Rob.

Hi all, Applied 1.2.5. using update DCS exe, now when I try to fly the program just crashes saying "DCS Has Stopped Working" , what is going on looks like i'll just go back to 1.2.4. sorry i'm not happy about this is anyone at ED testing these patches especially as they take so damn long!!!! Rob.

Su-27 pretending to be Su-30 My fellow skinner Flanker put two photos of what I believe is an Su-30 in an overall dark blue grey colour scheme(Russian AF) so I thought I would copy it on to the DCS Su-27 as a skin. Now I know this is fictional but I think it looks pretty mean in these colours. Also I have copied the serial number as well as changing the standard "BBC POCNN" as this was a little too big. I have included Flankers pics of the original Su-30 so you can compare. Tell me what you think. Thanks Rob.

Yeah know what you mean CH, the bright turquoise blue colour is a RuAF Federal Standard colour but i'm not so sure. Cheers anyway. Rob.

I have been playing War Thunder for about 3 months, in my opinion although it is completely free to play, if you want all the decent fighters and bombers and all the little goodies it can end up being rather expensive, but all this aside as BIGNEWY has said it is great fun but hardly a true flight combat simulator. Eventually though(who knows when) it will incorporate land, sea and air combat which does sound rather interesting.

Kazakhstan AF "Red 08" Nice skins Jack, one them looks very much like one of mine(Su-27 pretending to be Su-35). Here's my latest offering, my second Kazakhstan Air Force Su-27 Flanker representing aircraft "Red 08". I did not have a great deal of references for this one apart from a few limited angle photos and a three view profile of a two seat UB version so this is as close I can get to the real thing. I hope you all like it. By the way Jack if you are doing the dark blue grey Su-35 skin(as seen at Paris air show you will notice radome grey panels on the leading edge slats, these are some sort of radar or maybe radar warning devices I am not too sure but they are there. Indonesian Air Force Su-27 "2705" skin. Firstly, Jack that Flanker skin looks amazing, I was thinking of doing that scheme myself but it was a little beyond my novice photoshop skills.
