  1. I'm actually doing the same but with smart smoothing and it actually works really well... A few odd ghostings here or there but really not that bad and it feels really smooth.

Does anyone know if Nvidia's Dynamic Vibrance works in VR (Pimax Crystal).. I've read that HDR works on it.. was curious if DV worked and if there was any performance penalty?
  3. I'm not "in my feelings" I was just responding to an rudely worded comment. Apology accepted though and hope to see you in the skies! Clearly a misunderstanding.
  4. You clearly were by the way you worded your question but I'll bite. No, I wouldn't feel better if they did. It would probably be the opposite.. What I would really want them them to to do is come out and state that there won't be any more modules because all of their employees are working on the Dynamic Campaign. Instead of having small teams that slowly make progress on things.
  5. They just did... Are you slow or?
  6. How we could get an F-35 but not a 2 seater Super Hornet (which wouldn't take much considering how far the F-18 has come) kinda sucks but hey.. what can ya do...
  7. Yeah I been trying to do some research on it. I'm aware that most headsets have their own frame gen like ASW or Smart Smoothing but those don't use AI. If the option was there to use that instead of the headsets reprojection, that would be a welcoming change esp since it seems (take with a grain of salt) that the latency is lower too.
  8. Thread has gone off topic. Any viable information on the topic should definitely be posted. Esp from the devs and their implementation of DLSS in DCS. Interestingly enough the upgrade to DLAA alone should be help. It would be really interesting to see if multiframe gen can be forced in the nvidia app in VR.
  9. It will when it's pushing 120hz and there are enough frames to stop the ghosting + advances in DLAA. (Again, hopefully) Also, I don't understand why DLSS frame gen wouldn't work in VR. It's producing the same image it does in 2D. That's why DLSS was huge for VR to begin with. To achieve higher frame rates for the headset.
  10. Well hopefully at least the DLAA updates will help in DCS for all users. It seems like the multi frame gen for the 50 series will def help more so than it already is in the 40 series.. esp in VR. Even with fake frames, it helps with the refresh rate on the headset.
  11. I've now spoken to an ex F-18C LOT20 pilot and mechanic (80's and 90's) that confirms that there is an option for the JHMCS to display hafu symbology in a non blink setting across the HUD. IE: Following a hafu across your HUD while everything else gets blanked out. This is an extremely useful option to have while following a datalink target nose on. If this option is currently available I have no been able to find it in the JHMCS settings.
  12. Pretty sure the frame generation is driver side and can be used with any game. At least according to the Nvidia videos.
  13. Nvidia profiles aren't supported by DCS. That's why I was asking bignewy of we could get official profiles sent to nvida so we could enable them. I was trying to enable it and that's what the app says. Either official support, a dll replacement, or a nvidia profile will all work with the dll having the least amount of options I believe.. unless you can change settings in the file.
  14. I'm def getting the 5090 but those two features will work with all RTX cards.
  15. I think the DLAA update and Super Resolution alone will be huge for DCS because of the fast moving objects.
