Now, you want to hear something? It is fixed!!! HOW? I have no slightest clue. The only thing I can think of is that I run 2 monitors setup and sometimes I use only one. Maybe switching to two without shutting the PC off caused it? I will never know but just to be safe when doing what I was doing, shut the PC off and turn back on. All is working now (external views) in track right after the mission and in saved track as well.

Mike, thank you very much for continuous help but restarting DCS did not work for me. Looking at the threads you linked, it seems that it is a bug. I will take my time this weekend and report properly. And really, it is not that important, I can see all I need from inside the cockpit, if it is a bug though, why not to report, right? Thanks again!!!!!

No luck. The walkaround from linked thread did not work for me. I have all checked (External Views), in General Settings and in ME. Flew, saved the track, played the track, no external views. Is there anything you need me to attach to investigate? The linked thread says that it is a bug, should I report it? It is not a very bad deal breaker, but I would like to see what I did wrong during flight also looking from outside.

Hello, Golden Nugget here, lol (as per @IronMike ) Loved his reply. First of all, I hope this is the place to ask as I do not want to mess up the structure of the forums and rules. I made a super simple mission for landing practice based on TRAINING mission. In Mission Options I have check marked "External Views" and F10 View Options. After I fly it and save Track and Play Track, I cannot go to external view (F2). What I am doing wrong? Thanks a lot!

Hey Mike, Golden Nugget here, lol,lol,lol. Yes, I know I will find the answers, already know after few tries, people like helping in general and my problems are solved after couple replies. You know what I like the most about DCS adventure? The depth of the things you can learn between aircraft flying/navigating/combat and ME that gives you endless scenarios. I think it gives one who wants to learn (like me) just many great options. OK, I already derailed the thread, so I better shut up before people will start taking me apart... lol,lol.

I am a total newbie into DCS, and I do not reply to many posts, but I really liked what Mike said. I see different people here, some want to learn, some want to help, some want to just push their point across and some just troll. Yes, we are all different, but I agree with Mike that if one just nicely asks anything, the 99% of the time, they will get their answer in a friendly fashion. I do not like arguing on Internet especially after I hear that saying somewhere:" arguing on Internet is like competing in special games, even if you win, you are still a retard" Saying that as a joke only with all respect and sympathy for people with different disabilities. I do have one as well, hearing problem. I never laugh at or put down people who are disabled in any way, I just loved the comparison in the above quote. I would rather try to learn and enjoy flying in DCS than wasting time in pointless, heated arguments but hey, we are all different, right?

Is the new guy doing all manuals or only selected ones? Having a look at few manuals I have toa admit it is incredible amount of work to update/add/proof things.

OK, progress as I got two little crosses on the screen but how do I move them and what do I press after they line up? Ok, now I got little crosses lined up but pressing cage C button toggles between x/y and roll alignment. How do I get out of this mode? Crosses are aligned already.

Hello, Sorry if it was asked before. I am watching Cold Start Video I did the HMD align (first part in the video) using Cage Button (holding C on keyboard) and it says READY. Then he says about aligning two little crosses using Throttle Designator Controller (Enter). When I press ENTER, nothing happens. How do I get to that screen? Or do I need to at all? When I press A/P button, semicolon is there (not shown on the picture). I was thinking is that possible that the mission makes A/P failure? Is it possible? Or what else might be making AP not working with semicolon shown?

Hello, As the title says, I keep trying but no luck. I have autopilot in ATTH mode but plane slowly rolls to side and pitch is not maintained neither. I am sure it is something I am missing but please help the total newbie. See attached screenshot. Thanks!

Hi Turok, I am totally new here and I did have to go through setup, but it is not so bad. Just start with axes and then whatever you think it is the most needed. It is going to be saved automatically but if you want you can save as some profile. I also had double assignments and it was driving me nuts, I advanced throttle and some other parameter was changing. Take it easy and enjoy!!!

It worked the only thing that bothers me is that NEUTRAL airport should give fuel, no?

Thank you. And if not, do I need to edit it in ME? So airports do not have fuel available by default? How do I find out about that from F10 map? Sorry I need to study better.
