If that was directed at me, none of those setups are mine. I use a Samsung 46" LCD, and input lag is not an issue for me (although I've only used it with DCS). Can't imagine it would be an issue at all, but I could be wrong.

I love the 'new-components-still-in-the-box' feeling. I enjoy building the thing as much as putting it through the paces. Try Windowed with an Aero theme selected and you will pick about about 10 fps. Though if you aren't using Helios, Full Screen might be the way to go.

Just out of curiosity, is that because you object to the subject matter? Because it's almost unheard in terms of quality (http://www.metacritic.com/tv/breaking-bad/season-4/critic-reviews). Same with the Wire (http://www.metacritic.com/tv/the-wire/season-4/critic-reviews), though it pretty much deals with drugs as well. Anyhow, didn't mean to derail the thread.

Cali: HBO's the Wire (all seasons) Breaking Bad (all seasons) These are some of the best things ever filmed, TV or otherwise. Do not pass over to other side without watching them. I'd recommend Breaking Bad first.

I've used 1 projector in the past but am now much happier with a 46' LCD. You could set 3 of those up with an ATI card for a better (and possibly cheeper) result. It should be fine. I've used it as such. I'd recommend TIR 5 with the ProClip.

Good to know about not aero-braking, one less thing to do. Also, in addition to full airbarkes, retracting flaps helps marginally.

And forget about Smartphones.

You could also try holding the nose off the runway after landing to aero-brake. And as I understand it, you shouldn't be using the wheel brake except possibly at the very end of your roll-out--just use the entire length of the runway to slow down. Edit: also deploy full air brakes after touch down.
