  1. Same issue as above. occures after a few flight repeatedly. delete AJS folder restart game, works until it crashess again

    what about TV view in F4 or other targetting pod image when you pan around? i got full of smear. i am using 4090 btw, also think J and K eats more frame, but do feel more crisp overall
  4. Did you find way to get Valve Knuckles to work in DCS? I used to use it and worked pretty well, but as you say after one of the update it no longer shows up at all, let alone let me edit the control...

    DLSS 4

    I tried preset J and K (DLAA), both looks very crisp in general, except ghosting pretty bad in F4 TV screen (with either AGM45 or Pave spike). Did a clean install of the latest Nvidia driver and ghosting in TV screen was gone but turns out it reset the preset to default (C)... did a few more test and ended up with E to keep a non-smeared TV screen. Anyone else having similar issue?
  6. come to say thank you for keep updating this mission. I had issue with StopGap in the past but now everything works fine. Feels much more alive or chaotic than pretense, which I always enjoys for a while before things gets a bit repetitive. One question though, is it possible to have the save interval shortend to e.g. 1min?

  10. It seems to occur with GBU12 but not GBU24, after a few more tests
  11. Have been flying F4 without any real issue for months until I decided to learn laser guided bomb with pave spike yesterday. Running MP on a dedicated server but playing solo. First a couple runs went without issue but I also went overspeed and overshot, Jester was calling out the speed correctly but I ignored him. Then finally I was on speed, Jester appeared to stuck in calling the same speed (430) over and over. In any case bomb dropped and hit target. Then I tried to drop another bomb, Jester got stuck again, calling out the same speed (360 this time) over and over. So I tried to make Jester silent by using the UI wheel. He shut up but immediately the FPS started to drop gradually (perhaps now he was spamming callout non-stop in silent) and eventually FPS dropped to 0, game was still working, and eventually the plane crashed on the ground, FPS back to normal. Selected a new plane, same load out, once in air, arm the laser bombs, game crashed right away. Restarted DCS, joined the same game, arm the laser bombs, game again crashed right away. Dedicated server on the same mission kept running fine through out this mess dcs.log
  12. Why the F4 spawn half way in the ground? like the rear gear is below the goround? also hind and ka50 spawn and explode...i am runing DCS 2,9,5 though. would that be the reason
  13. as title said, the speed indicater and VSI suddenly stops working during the flight, no failure event. I did run out of fuel on the outer tank during the flight an i switched to inner tank right away but i am not sure if the speed indicator stopped working then.

  15. yea i think the story may have bugged out in my last play through as neither the Hind was relocated, nor the Turks landed after I destroyed all 4 North Cyprus columns. But from what have I seen in my previous less successful play through, the campaign development was very interesting, thanks for all the thoughts went into it.
  16. Just won the Cyprus Conflict campaign after a restart. I am curious what was the logic or trigger for turkish landing reinforcement. last time the landing started after the norths cyprus force was destoryed. This run, I got 3 missions in a row to strike Ercan airfield after stopping the initial ground attack, then another a couple missions to strike another airfield further east. then it is declared a victory. This time Turkish force did not come even after 10 missions. Also noticed that in tacview that the Ai still spawns AH1W strike package in Ercan airport even after that airport is 100% destroyed (both strategics and airport itself)
  17. happy to report with the latest script, damage to airfield in the Cyprus mission was indeed recorded. although the briefing included hanger and command center as target, but the mission end only consider fuel tank, ammo dump and comm tower as valid targets... Also tuning to the EWR did give me plenty of warning about what's going on in the airspace
  18. you don't say... this is my first DCE experience, so i dont know if this the typical, but it become a bit frustrating when getting shot down by enemy CAP or even AH1W without warning on your way to strike target in the later missions. But I really like the evolution of the battlefield, how the forces move around between missions and new reinforcement come in as the conflict escalate. btw, regarding the EWR, what specifically should I expect from it? new to this feature...
  19. oh, i maybe should be more patient to stay on that channel longer as I switched back to package channel 0 after not seeing the AWACS option in the radio menu. Should I expect to hear an announcement from EWR if it detects any enemy flight? The Cyprus incident mission is fun but very challenging for me at least. Having finally managed to sneak attack the airport defended by Avenger and Raiper, and then just getting shot down out of blue by enemy CAP without any warning is frustrating.

Not sure if this the right place to ask this, but in the Cyprus Incident mission, there is an EWR deployed, but cannot seem to use it in the Hind by tuning to the EWR frequency. am I missing something or is that EWR intended for Gazelle and M2000? (I am not very familar with this aspect of the game in general..)
  21. i was not able to update but now i reinstalled it and it shows 20.63.302 maybe this will solve the issue and improve the experience.
  22. thaniks for the respoonse. it seems if i dont quit and restart the game, the next mission is not loaded, it is either campaign victory or same mission number as the last one i just played. but will try again. The mission with strike issue is Cyprus_Incident_Hind-NG. It is the first escort mission for an strike on airport, could be the 2nd or 3rd mission in the campaign...i dont have tac view.
  23. another question for escort mission: the strike pack fails to make any damage, but i as the escort force did destroy the target buiidings, but the mission outcome still says did not inflict any damage. why is that? what is counted as destoried?
  24. A basic question, do i always have to quit DCS after each mission and start it again to be able to load the new mission generated? or is there a smart way to refreash the mission list in the campaign?
  25. Contacted Varjo support which claims their OpenXR runtime has no bug... and ask if index controller is indeed included in the supported controller by DCS' openxr implementation.
