  1. Whenever I try to do the Case III approach to the carrier, the only light that I can see is the line-up light. IFLOLS or the LA lights do not turn on at all even after landing, which makes the final 3/4-mile visual approach very painful at night as there is no ball to judge the glideslope. I am not sure if this is a bug that came with the new Supercarrier update or if am I missing something.
  2. I am looking for improved communication modes for supercarrier ops in DCS. Does anyone have any suggestions?
  3. That is the one, thanks!
  4. Today I was watching a DCS video and heard the guy calling the ball with his own voice in the single player Case 1 landing mission. I am curious if this is just a mod he added or does it actually exist and I just did not know about it? Link to the video:
  5. Noted, thank you for the help
  6. I ended up removing the wheel brakes from the twist axis completely, just assigned a button for it instead. Thank you for the suggestion
  7. Will do that, thank you
  8. Thank you so much for your help, I did not know the brakes were 50% on when you don't touch them so I always thought not touching them at all is the solution. Releasing the brakes fully resolved the issue. (Btw I am not sure if they are meant to be on 50% by default? I use Thrustmeter T16000m and twisting the stick to left and right applies brakes, so when it is not twisted it just stays at 50%)
  9. Tried adding a curve just now, it did not work Did a quick landing, I am fairly new to DCS so I don't know if you can cut down a track file, but it shouldn't be too long. landing.trk
  10. As it says on the title, when I land I do the usual routine of mil power for 4 seconds, idle, wait for the jet to roll back and raise the hook. But the wire just won't let go of the plane. I do not touch the wheel brakes at any point and also I turn the anti-skid off before landing so there is nothing wrong with the method as far as I know. I always do the same method but it's always a hit and miss every landing sometimes the wire will release me and sometimes it just won't even if my method is perfect. After going mil power wire pulls back slightly but aircraft does not fully roll back and only the nose rises slightly ( yes anti-skid is still off when this happens). Also tried folding the wings and using NWS but wire just pulls me off into the sea. This has been happening way too regularly recently and it is starting to get annoying since I need to restart (or respawn if I am in a multiplayer server) at each landing. Any help would be appreciated.
