  2. even then it´s only 10 losses due to a2a combat so ususally the advanced fighters activate later automatically? Didnt knoiw that ^^, thought it was a choice kinda thing or they wouldnt appear at all. But ok so i can just play vanilla
  3. Here´s my first War over Beirut debrief: I did activate all the higher tier enemies, nullStill losing 43 friendlies, 10 due to a2a seemed quite harsh. Probably just a dcs ai thing, but ill leave this here.

  5. that worked, also would be cool to check the red site as well, i think mig29s and the higher SUs might have an issue too. Something is wrong with the red site as well ^^. just clicking save init causes error
  6. mainly it happens when changing the player flight to f16 or generally when copying the campaign and then trying to open the edit section oob_air.lua oob_air_init.lua
  7. I got similar issue basically again on War over Beirut when trying to generate a first miz with f16C(any flight) for Multiplayer with choice by Nato. Using 2 players, F16C, SEAD. It keeps looping with "not enough ready aircraft for all clients"

  9. For example when skipping mission and at the end of the first mission the results i think dont work. And the generate next mission doesnt come up.

  11. Hey tried the "falcon over PG - NG" campaign and it seems to have some script issues, e.g. cant click on skip mission. and debrief also didnt work
  12. All you need is to run a liberation mission Here´s an example whcih i just tested. Not the worst mission but you can see some differences. Smooth 72fps (capped) in 2.9.5 and a lot of dips in 2.9.7 . Some other interesting things in 2.9.7 checking the cores one core was reaching the 100 frequently. After disabling the core affinity of that core and another spiky one things spread out more and there was slightly less stuttering, though still there to some degree. retribution_nextturn.miz
  13. I was trying the iran iraq one with mp by nato i think. That aside, when trying to get a SAR/CSAR mission only. Will that only happen if let a normal strike or A2A mission play out first? I can get a SAR mission but it will basically take forever until anything happens. That´s all intended?

  15. Try the same mission but start far away on an empty airfield then you can see the 2 issues seperated.
  16. Here are the 2 batfiles that i use for repair and downgrading. Put them into your DCS folder (not in bin), you can edit them with an editor DCS_updater_Downgrader.bat DCS_updater_repair.bat
  17. We could even run a server alongside our main game on same pc, the result would be that the server is handling the ai tasks and causes desync and rubberbanding. Our clients ran perfeclty finne with full fps. So it hardly can be the cpu failing. i can easily run a 2nd game alongside dcs and it would be fine
  18. yes it is due to the game what else would it be? The game currently cant handle more heavy missions. that´s all there is to it. Probabaly due to the new AI features. Ai overloads one cpu core, game starts to stutter, fps sinks drastically. This also happens on pure server installs. So no GPU even involved. Failing what sense? what are you looking for here? the CPU cores are at 100 and temps are fine. I mean yes the CPU cant handle it. But the point is the game demands much more CPU with the latest updates. Which seems unproportional to the stuff that was added. My tests have shown that this issue happens in VR, in non VR, as well as on dedicated servers(server side). Idk what the others did maybe they have way too high settings sure which can add to the whole issue. But I have tested this without any GPU demands. And normal missions run fine for me on all platforms, that´s not the issue here for me. Friend of mine with 5800x3d and 4090 tried the same missions with the same results You want a test mission?
  19. Fact is the performance heavily decreased. I understand that new features require more performance. but the new features require an unreasonable amount of CPU as it stands and im sure such things can and should be improved by ED. Again we´re talking about laggy 30v30 servers vs 100vs100+ which ran fine before. These are PURE CPU issues and have nothing to do with gpu. Tested on a 5800x3d. Nobody here´complains about the game not being able to run a basic scenario. This is simply a thread about heavy increase in CPU usage that seems unreasonable compared to before when playing more heavy scenarios. Sure the Dynamic campaign "bubble" as you exepct can come at some point. but that may still be idk 2 years in the future. If you have fun playing 20v20 scenarios that´s fine for you then. But for many it simply is a let down. I dont see why you would even remotely try to argue this I dont think it´s reasonable to wait till then and further performance updates outside of that should be at least looked into (which they are doing).
  20. I did remove quadviews and it got better but performance is still nowhere near how it used to be. OVerall that is to be expected as quadviews consumes additional CPU power. But if your cpu is already struggling to begin with quadviews will make it worse. I wouldnt say quadviews is by any means the cause of this whole issue hence, it´s just not usable due to the performance issues present already.
  21. Was it better though on 2.9.5? As the thread is indeed about degredation from 2.9.5 onwards. If this was generally an issue it might be worth starting a new thread for that specific issue.
  22. Guy from retribution reported that if he sets the ground units to 10 per side, he could raise the aircraft count to 100v100 again.
