deleting a mission from a campaign
silentbob11 replied to silentbob11's topic in Mission Editor Bugs
thnx sabre, since it's a stock FC3 F-15 mission I doubt if ED are gonna do something about it... :) that said - I wonder if the numerous upgrades the openbeta went through didn't botched the scripted campaign missions. so - maybe I have to delete the saved game folder and try the campaign again - can you please tell me where it's saved on the computer? and second can you tell me where the campaign mission are saved within the DCS world folder? THNX again  SB -
Hi all, since a specific mission in 1.5 openbeta FC3 campaign is giving me trouble (F-15 colliding on the tarmac and planes returning home before completing the mission) I would like to know weather I can delete this mission out of the campaign and how? thanx SB11

same here good FPS at the begining (50-60 on the tarmac) but they get lower amd lower as the missions are progressing (11-15) resulting in an unplayable game at the end. hope someone is looking into it. SB11

Got no force Feedback in FC3 my FF2 stick is "dead" and sluggish. stick is fine in A-10C module though... SB11

how do you do this with the updater? SB11

1.2.6 and force feedback

Hi Panther, already did this plugged the stick directly to the MOBO, seems fine at the beginning but deteriorated as the mission progressed. so that's not the solution... :( SB11 -
1.2.6 and force feedback
silentbob11 replied to Maxander's topic in Controller Profiles and Problems
I sure hope so, ED tends to fix stuff and only then find out that they had broke other stuff. (1.2.5 didn't have this problem) I know it's like that in an ongoing project like DCS but please...1.2.6 was the buggiest update ever..:\ SB11 -
1.2.6 and force feedback
silentbob11 replied to Maxander's topic in Controller Profiles and Problems
FFB2 lagging while I too have no shake with my FFB2 just a stiffening before stalling (that sounds a lil' dirty...:music_whistling:) my problem is a kind of lagging with stick response (slaggishness with the target designator and even turning the outside view camera (F2 key) around) mainly when there's a busy inviroment with enemy fighters missiles flying and so forth. interesting enough, it happens in FC3 module, but not with the A-10C. any idea what could be causing it? That's all very impressive, but what good is it if so many people can't use it due to instability issues? SB11
-
Well, for most people who have this error (like me) 1.2.5 was stable and worked fine. I would start there, and look for a change that was made and might cause an error. SB11
-
sure. short off reformatting, I think I did everything. reverting to 1.2.5 did it though. so I do think that 1.2.6 is FUBAR after all... SB11
-
not for me it didn't... :) SB11
-
A solution finally! reverted back to 1.2.5 and all crashes were gone. waiting patiently untill 1.2.7 or a 1.2.6 official fix will pop up. thanx to all those who tried to help - I really tried it all... SB11

bloody same as my messege... I also moticed a savere lagging with me keyboard response (mainly with the numpad arrow keys for looking up, down, left and right). that is before I crash with runtime error. SB11
-
well sir, I've already done that - D/L fresh copies of DCS and ALL my modules - FC3 and A-10C. crashed and burned. anyone knows how to revert to 1.2.5? SB11
-
I am at the end of my barrel now. tried everything including fresh reinstall of the sim, fresh reinstall of C++ 2010 running as administrator, deleting saved game folder and launching the game NOT from the game ixon ondesktop - crashed everytime after several minutes. never had this problem wuth any other patch So, your're saying everything is OK with 1.2.6? SB
-
:))) apperently not :)... but with all this hussle... is it so hard to admit that this release has gone bad and release a new version? after all people paid good money for this sim and modules and deserve to get a playable one without having to go through gazzilion optional "fixes" that may or may not work. After all - 1.2.5 was working flawlessly... SB11
-
well, tried most of them with no luck. about your suggestion of a freash C++ install my machine had this to say: "A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable has been detected on the machine" SB11
-
no, I don't. sorry...:( SB11
-
after the runtime error messege pops up, it goes back to the debriefing screen but says it can't get the debrief file or something like that... SB11

read the posts, went through the threads and wanted to know - is 1.2.6 broken? I've tried flying both FC3 and A-10C in single player cnampaign mode and crashied every time usually a few minutes into the game with C++ runtime error messege. did the dance - repair, delete saved game folder, fresh install and jumping on one leg on a full moon night - still crashes while 1.2.5 was perfecrly stable. DCS world currently seems unplayable for me - or is it just me? SB11

thanks alot. Georgian hammer sure needs some retouching. It looks like FC3 campaigns were totally neglected by the developers as the versions progressed and seem to have many broken features. I am far from finishing the campaign and by the look of it i'll sure need some help at tweaking missions... :) SB11

thanx Bueno, I had to enter game as administrator, and it sorted things up. the deletion of the second escort via mission editor did the trick and i finally managed to move on to the next mission... thanx again for your help! SB11
