Subj. somehow can not find it in control. Now there is s1 press, but no more backward (to go to the radar; s1 press eventually will make radar SOI (or w/e proper term is in jf17) but not on the first click). Was not able to find anything related to this chage in changelog as well

Just to clarify myself. You are talking about just switch binding to be toggle instead of “push to enable, off when not pushed”? Because I have it on physical switch (which stays in on position when togled) and it seems working just fine (aka no auto trim. Just dumpening)
