Can we have a "bullet in moving zone" trigger? We have missiles and bombs triggers, I'd like bullets so I can have AI react to warning shots across the nose.

An ATC module could be awesome. Like the LSO station, you could see the aircraft in your airspace, and information about them. Operate lights on runways, open or close them, direct aircraft on the ground of course, another option could be to "activate" AI flights on the ramp. A GCI Module could occupy the same tower, or an AWACS station. Lots of possibilities.

Being an LSO or AIR BOSS is a lot more niche than being an ATC or GCI. There should be modules for both.

Why would there be restrictions or consequences? It's just a titanium rod. Doesn't have anything on it to cause drag like a flap or a wheel.

It was a separate upgrade that ALL Tomcats got, but by the time the B(u) upgrade came around, that had already happened, so yes. The B(u) has DFCS.

I honestly don't understand how people can complain when you get not one, not two, not three, but FOUR modules, AND a carrier, for the price of ONE module, and it's the best module in DCS at that. So what the last 2 variants took longer than expected. Be happy you get them, for free. Can't wait for the B(u) and will happily pay for it to support HB.

If you watch the documentary Tomcat Tales, there's an interview with the pilot who dropped the first one in combat, I believe it was during OIF.

I was flying a mission yesterday with about 15 people, and there was a human GCI and ATC. It added so much to the realism. It was fantastic, which got me thinking, now that we can occupy the tower on a carrier, we need to do this on bases too. A radar screen, list of callsigns in the airspace, etc. We need an ATC module.

I think the F-15C is a good call. And it will sell A LOT of copies. I also think an F-16AM would, as a lot of the world uses or used to use that. I'd also like to see a BM and D version. Bombers, it's honestly a travesty there's no B-17 yet, with plenty of good examples left to laser scan. B-1B is another I'd buy instantly. But mostly I'd like to see current modules finished, core upgrades, asset packs, simple things like working loud speakers for bases and carriers, a form of deck crew for bases, ATC (which is apparently close) and on and on.

No offense, but that doesn't read the same to me as, we have comprehensive data like NATOPS manuals and laser scanning. I wish you guys good luck of course, but in my opinion, and that's all it is, it's not the same standard DCS is renowned for.

You completely misunderstood what I wrote. I know we have super accurate models, like the Tomcat and Phantom just to name 2. And because we do, I personally am NOT ok with models that are mostly guesswork. Leave that to the Ace Combats and War Thunders.

And the point is, why would they put in countless more hours and costs, if they can just make a click cockpit FC plane, like this is going to be. There's no incentive for a company like Heatblur to raise the bar with modules like the Tomcat and Phantom, if the parent company is just going to yolo an F-35 together.

Sure it can. Let's take for instance all the 3rd party devs that are laser scanning their modules. Think ED has laser scanned Fat Amy?

I'd rather see the B(u) before the early A. I'd rather see the B(u) in front of everything honestly. Before the EF, before the A-6, before the Navy F-4. And I'll gladly pay $80 if it's a completely seperate module.

Like many others, I have my concerns about the F-35 module. Going by the faq it's 85% guesswork and hearsay. We don't need that in DCS. DCS' niche is realism. IMO postpone the F-35, and put the team that would work on it, to work on the other modules that need finishing. Not to mention core stuff, ATC, Vulkan, updating old modules to current graphics, etc. I welcome the 15C because that's feasible. But a half-baked War Thunder F-35? No thanks. Those man hours are much better spent elsewhere if just updating the F-5 took 7000 hours. Do an official poll and ask your community what they rather want. Current modules finished, Core work, asset packs, updated modules, or the F-35. Then put the people at work in that area. My $0.02

It honestly has to be made official now. Leaks, Official ED video, Official pics. It's too late to turn back now. Every Tomcat fan is drooling at this point. I can't even imagine the <profanity>storm if they say no now. That's the F-14D. We were shown the B(u)

I would like to see seamless transition between maps, and then 4 maps covering Europe, both in WW2 and Modern time. For instance all of Britain and Western Europe in one map, Eastern Europe in another, Spain and Italy in one, and so on. Actually being able to Escort a B-17 from England to Berlin and back. And a modern version for WW3 scenarios

90% of this is WW2 stuff specifically in the Pacific. I have a feeling it's all being released at the same time. The map, an asset pack, the Hellcat, and maybe even the Corsair. It needs the map and assets at a minimum, or you can't do anything realistic with a plane. So my feeling is they're waiting on the map and/or assets and/or plane(s) to be ready, to release everything at once.

Maybe people just need to quit bitching about anything and everything lol.
