  1. Is there a trick to flying in formation with Biff? I have him hooked, but struggle to maintain his speed. Any tips you all can give?
  2. Not saying I don't want it fixed, but It really doesn't make the mission unplayable. As long as you tune BIFF into the ARC210 and also ARC186, it worked just fine for me. No need to tune the ARC210 to BIFF until waypoint 2. The mission is still very playable for me.
  3. I've run this mission 3 times now and still only get 75% What's the trick to 100%?
  4. Really appreciate all the hard work. This campaign got me out of my slump and back into playing DCS. Great job!
  5. Having to set every freq. in the ARC210 takes time and having to do it at the beginning of every mission is a chore. (I know first world problems).
  6. BD - is there a way to import a list of freqs at teh start of your training missions?
  7. I took a month or so break in the campaign to setup a new hotas. Needless to say, I forgot some of the flight plan creation lessons from mission 3. Was no big deal, I found a mission on YouTube and it helped a lot. Not sure why, but I had a hard time with this mission. The mission itself worked great and all the triggers worked. The issue was the direct, to-to, to-from part. The HSI didn’t work like they showed in the YouTube video. When I had it set to direct, the HSI in the CDU still was showing X's. I decided to just follow the waypoints on the TAD and everything progressed the way it should. I will definitely be playing this one again after I study some more on the waypoints and CDU. Looking forward to Mission 5!
  8. Agreed! Like I said in another post, if you take the time up front to program in your freqs, you don't even need to reference the kneepad. So cool!
  9. Nope. I hit my triggers good on this mission. If you taxi too fast/ too slow can sometimes make you miss triggers.
  10. This was a great Mission, but between missing triggers and user error, it took me about 5 play throughs to complete it. Here are my constructive criticisms plus the good things I liked about this mission. The Bad A Noob like me needs BIFF to tell me when to turn to a waypoint....especially when the triggers are so important. I lost BIFF on two separate playthroughs. Could have been my fault missing triggers or going too fast/slow I had to look up a YouTube video to learn how to use the Divert function. Would have been nice to go through that in a bit more detail Lots of long sections with no talking that could have been used to talk about Divert or other things. The Good Works great with the new ARC210 (See Screen Shot) If you go through the time up front to program in the freqs, you don't even need to refer to your kneeboard! Great Voice Acting\ Hilarious lines When triggers are hit, the results are amazing Really appreciate the "Tour Guide" aspect of the mission. Some really interesting stuff. I would still highly recommend this mission to everyone, but do realize it could take multiple play throughs, but so worth it! I was more than a bit rusty with waypoint creation, but now it's almost second nature. Yes it sucks to have to restart after an hour of playthrough, but on the flip side, the things you keep repeating are not a waste of time and just builds that muscle memory. -Triple
  11. I haven't had a chance to get back to DCS since the new update. Anyone having issues with the new radio or is it all good?
  12. So I ran into my first issue and I think you all have seen it already. I was taxiing too fast and Biff missed a bunch of lines before takeoff (@ the parked F-15's). I just continued the mission and he started hitting his lines again once I got in the air, and the rest of the mission went fine. I did experience a glitch I believe was connected to the first one. After landing I was taxiing back to the parking spot and as I approached the parked F-15's Biff start his lines for takeoff that I missed at the beginning of the mission. I parked, shut down and got 100%. Very impressed!
  13. I've been learning the A-10 and feel like I can do a cold dark start blindfolded and very comfortable with navigation. Today I finished mission 1, and couldn't believe how much I learned! As a single player doing training missions, I had no idea how to work the radios. It was so great learning about presets and changing channels during different parts of the mission. Besides the radios, the coolest part for me was that this was the first time I flew with a wingman. On top of all this, Biff and the voice acting was superb. There were so many tests and controls I never realized existed. That was very surprising because I have watched a ton of Youtube videos. So far, I'm very impressed and I'm looking forward to mission 2. Thank you BD!
  14. Please disregard - User Error
  15. I started the first mission and started up the cold start with Biff and all was working fine. I got interrupted and had to close out of DCS. Later I went back in and restarted the mission. Biff no longer was talking. I could hear my responses to Biff, but it was complete silence. Any ideas?
