So you guys say it is not very practical other than it works? When I tried it for the first time in Oculus UI I was very impressed, almost like you take chains of your hands.
v63 on head and link, I will check later and drop app bulid. I aslo opted for beta so maybe that is the diffrence.
edit: Meta Quest Link App Version 63.0.0.216.361 (63.0.0.216.361)
I am on the latest and greatest and it works fine for me. Remove any start parameters go to the game and enable VR hardware from the VR menu. The game will reload and start VR itself. I use the bin from the MT folder. OpenXR toolkit works well too.
cheers
Hi Sepruda
Did you determine the optimal settings and software set for your BT Pro and DCS? I also use Hapti Connect and Reverb G2. So far, I'm not really happy. The first problem is Windows 11. On my system, I have to set the HC file to run in Windows 8 compatibility mode in order to work. The second occurs after I switch to VR, Hapti Connect software freezes and have to kill it in the task manager. I will be working to get my optimal setup but your input will be valuable.
Some cleaning here and there is needed. More people attractive to VR. I think the VR topic should be separated and all the OpenXR, SteamVR, Meta/Oculus, Reverb, WMR, OffTopic and others should be subdivided and discussions moderated.
I'm on the same page but I will wait until Bigscreen Beyond releases later this year. The sweat spot isn't the only factor in my case. Weight is a big one as I play a lot in VR, and the strap pressure from Index and G2 is a problem. Also, micro OLED sounds promising. I will hold the trigger for a few months more.
