I stumbled upon this sight while in a multiplayer server. I don't know how repeatable it is, but figured that it might as well be reported.
I'm also including a couple of short video clips of an AI helicopter flying around the sinkhole to show this wasn't simply a visual glitch.

Zoom only works if you know something is there already. Zooming in and out and seeing an object appear and disappear is not even remotely realistic. At a certain point, you need to accept that you will not get 1:1 parity to real life with a computer game and accept that abstractions are necessary to make the software usable.
Foolishly trying to make everything dotless and at a 1:1 scale just means that an object that would be clearly visible in reality is going to be invisible on your screen. No amount of wishful thinking or complaining that dots don't exist in real life is going to change this.
No monitor in the world, flat screen or VR, has anywhere near enough pixel density to mimic what can be seen by eye. The options are a dot, scaling distant objects to compensate for resolution limitations, or not being able to see anything.
This is an excuse more fitting for a college freshman upset that they got a C on their exam. Ultimately, as a customer, I don't care that you worked really hard. I worked hard for my paycheck too. Its currently really difficult to justify buying a DCS module over a polished game for the same price.
I want DCS to be good, but I think you don't do your employer any service by doubling down on how we're the ones who are wrong for wanting AAA quality from a AAA MSRP.
Maybe if ED didn't charge AAA prices for modules players wouldn't have AAA expectations. When the full price of an aircraft is $60-80, even if it's 5+ years old, I should expect it to be as polished as any other game in that price range. This also applies to the cost of a map DLC, where I could spend the same amount of money on a complete game.
I can slot into the hind in multiplayer without incident, and can change slots to other aircraft, but once I try to change back to a hind slot my game crashes. I used the repair utility prior to collecting this log with the slow option selected.
