Ok, well I think i figured it out. Read somewhere that the backspace can cause issues with triggers. I had my backspace bound to my show/unshow flight stick. So this time i didnt hit that key and everything went according to plan.

Just curious if anyone else had run into this issue? I just recently purchased raven one after completing dominant fury ( which was fantastic I might add ) and my first play through mission1 went ok and I didnt notice any weird issues. However, I wanted to play it better and tried running it through it a second time. This time, the when saint calls out "fights on" he starts to turn in, but then never shows up as a contact and immediately starts to just fly back the other way ( away from me ) and goes towards the coast where he claims the SAM launch and then heads back to mother. I have re-attempted this about 4 times now and even tried running through the repair BETA installation and uninstalling and reinstalling the campaign, no dice. I can just follow him back to mother and land and complete this mission, but was wondering if I am missing some kind of mark that should trigger the dogfight or if this is just a thing that happens. As an added note, I dont recall an update between my first and subsequent attempts.

Played this the other day and the SAM did shoot back at Sluggo and the follow up triggers seemed to have worked ( including the launch of the migs from the nearby airbase ), however, I had to quit the mission so I had to come back to it later. Since then, I have been unable to get the triggers to activate. Every subsequent attempt ( 4 now ), the SAM doesnt launch, Sluggo destroys it and then its radio silence as Sluggo just heads back towards the ship. No new triggers or comms happen beyond that point. I keep restarting hoping I can finish this, but it seems to not wanna happen. Does anyone know if I can just return back to mother and the mission will complete despite the remining triggers not activating, or do I need to just skip this mission for the time being?
