  3. I will also post the instance when this happened against an air target as that might help too, i will see if track files from that mission work and post them if they do. I do understand that he was covered by ground clutter, but it is weird that petro wouldn't see him at all, no matter how much time he has, i would expect the targeting to take longer but not be completely impossible. Additionally, if you had watched more than 30 seconds in, you would see that i did in fact turn off the r60s and it did in fact not help...
  4. That is not the case, r60 missiles being active only prevent me from giving him the order to fire, not from him using the periscope. This can be seen in this another example of what i believe to be the same bug, where i neither have r60's spun up nor do i even have them on my aircraft: Additionally, in here you can see that he neither detects the btrs nor the outpost itself. (if outpost was covering btrs in petro's ai vision, then why cant he see the outpost itself?)

  6. Petro for some unknown reason doesn't see targets at all sometimes, even though they can be seen clearly. Doesn't matter how much time I give him, how dead center the aim point is or how many times i stow->unstow the periscope. Happens fairly rarely and usually does not happen on the second run in. I did not have such an issue before the major update but i know some people did. Happens with both air and ground targets.   7. I was just wondering if our J8PP will have those earlier missiles. This is important as this would allow for it to be used on early/mid cold war missions without hurting the balance or needing to be guns only.

I sound crazy i know, but it is a semi-historical loadout option althrought it would have to be more so a semi-fictional weapon (like ka50's iglas, althrought a bit less fictional) as our mi24P doesnt have such an upgrade which would allow for this. Still cool and easy to implement as a seperete option for those who dont mind breaking absoulete historical accuracy. In the imagine Mi24V 'Mission 24' carrying apkws, spikes and shtoorms
  9. Yea, i don't think i said it is thrust, i simply said it was "total" as that is the total impulse it produces.
  10. The Aim7F/M we have in dcs produces ~137 922N total which equals to roughly 31000lbf total, at 20000 feet. The documents i provided, claim that it produces 30.649lbf total, at sea level, which when you consider that, it makes the dcs motor severly underpowered compared to real life figures. (motor performs a fair bit better at higher alt so those figures being almost equal means that it is actually severly underperforming) Additionally our missile has a burn time of 3.7sec for the boost phase and 10.8sec for the sustainer phase which is incorrect based on most sources (there are more sources claiming the opposite than there are claiming for it).   11. There was even an incident where a HARM apparently tracked the B52's gunner fire control radar and hit the bomber.
  12. Recently my fps got a lot worse in multiplayer servers even though a few days ago it was just fine. In single player i get the usual frame rate i would get but once i join a multiplayer server i get half the frames i usually get on the same multiplayer server. The weird thing is that after i join and leave a multi server i get terrible frames in single player too. This is most likely caused by the gpu being only at 50% usage when in full screen but if i alt tab out of the game and have something overlayed on top so that in vr it shows "window is out of focus" (in this case just the task manager, like shown in the screenshot), gpu usage goes back to ~100% and fps goes back to the normal 36fps capped. Inside VR everything is still animated and updated just fine except in the normal 36fps so it is not just the game being paused causing the frame increase. Things i tried: - restarted dcs - restarted my pc - restarted my vr - tried both air link and wired connection with the same result Specs: Quest 2, windows 10, RX5700 (roughly 1660ti amd equivalent), ryzen 3600, 32GB ram, 50GB custom pagefile on an nvme ssd.
  13. Thats exacly what i plan to do (trial all helis to see what i like). As someone else said i will start with huey, as ka50 flight experiance just wont transfer to other modules i want to trial which is why i will probably trial it last.
  14. Yea UH60L was pretty easy to fly and land. Very fun to just mess around with. I know just the basics (collective, vortex ring state, rpm and such) so will defently check it out. I managed to do quite fine using the padals on the throttle, they are more accurate than stick twist and defenetly a lot more comfortable. Will look into some pedals once i get the cash on hand. I plan to start with the huey and then try the hip (both using 2 week trails). Huey seems like the easier one so i will start with it and then move onto the hip, for as you described it the "true" helicopter feeling. I play mig21 frequently, so i am fammiliar with redfor insturuments and having a ton of switches. I want to trial a bunch of helis after that to see what i like and what to pick up on the next sale.   15. So far i flew only airplanes so i am looking to branch out into helos. I want to learn them decantly well and then trail all the helos to see what i like the most. So far i only messed around with uh60l, landed a few times but overall it was quite "bumpy". Which helo would you recommend to start with and what guide should i use to start my helo journey? I have t16000 hotas with throttle but no pedals and i play in VR.
