Need a little help, I am learning how to do a carrier landing in the F18, watched many videos, after contacting the carrier and getting my heading I select the comm menu and I never see the ESTABLISHED menu item all I see is: "Arrival. Ready to land carrier" "Abort inbound" "Request Azimuth" Videos I have watched have the Established menu item, also the comm menu always says "AUTO" and in videos I watched it was labeled "COMM1: Arc 210

I sure did, LOL, I setup some SAM sites and now everything is working!

Thanks for the info, I did go to the ASE page and the Utility page and found the RLWR option, I clicked on it which makes it a solid circle, but the green rectangle never gets displayed on the TSD. I must be doing something wrong.

I am new to the Apache, and in most video tutorial on Youtube I have noticed a green rectangle on the TSD map and also hearing "Searching..." for the life of me I have not figured out how to enable this. I did read the manual and it appears I need to turn on "RLWR" (make sure the donut is closed) but I could never get this work. Below is a screenshot of what I am trying to display. Thanks! null

New to the Viper and was wondering when I turn on System Power button why do the ACT/POWER and ALTITUDE lights stay on? also the HANDOFF, UNKNOWN, SYS TEST and TGT SEP on the main panel remain on? all of the tutorials I have watched just show the MODE OPEN light on. Thanks for any help!

I have a Thrustmaster Hotas, I want to freeze the radar with the pinky switch, but I am unable to find the command to assign it, anyone know what it is? I looked in the control options of the F-15E but couldn't find it. Thanks!!

I did a complete re-install and that did not work, should I also do a slow repair?

Quick update, I found the tpod switch which was just left of the Laser switch and moved it from standby to on, but for some reason the TPOD remains off. I cycled the switch from off - standby - on but my screen displays "TPOD OFF -" weird.

Thanks everyone, I need to hop into the WSO seat! Still learning.... btw, I thought x-plane was complicated and study level, this F15 rises above that!

Just getting into DCS and the wonderful F15E, I am trying to figure out when I click the TPOD display it always display "TPOD -Off" What am I missing or not doing correctly? Thanks everyone.
